People say everything happens for a reason. They say life is unexpected, well they got that right. I am a straight A student, I try hard in school, I am in soccer, and I love to dance. My name is Melody Sings a relatively normal girl with an amazing boyfriend. His name was Jason Rodriguez.
He brightens my day and makes me feel wanted in this messed up world. We always were there for each other, not just as a couple, but as best friends. We had known each other since the 8th grade. We knew everything about each other everything, but sometimes I didn't want to talk. Like today, everything had been going wrong and I feared for what was to happen.
"MELODY!!!" I turned my head and was pleased to see Jason running across the hall to meet me. I lowered the music that was once blasting in my ears and turned completely to meet him with a giant smile on my face. "Hey babe, what's up with you?" He replied all excited. "Okay so listen here, there is a new deal for the Italy trip it's way cheaper and..." his smile faded and he stopped he read the expression on my face quickly he knew I didn't want hear it. "Jason the money isn't the issue my parents just don't want me to go." He tried to argue his point but he gave up he knew my parents wouldn't let me. We said I love you in Greek, it's his way of impressing me, and left for our class.
Later we met in the commons and I was in the corner on the floor listening to my music. Then, Jason came and sat next to me and said "Whats wrong Melody?" I snapped, "I'm fine, lets go." I felt bad immediately and tried to brighten the mood, but honestly I had a lot on my mind and it just made it so much harder for me to fake a smile.
