Dear Jonah,
We got drunk that night. So drunk. I remember fighting with my mom before I came to you. We sneaked out and went to a party. We danced. You were so close and I was so drunk. And you started singing. I watched your eyes and the sparkle they held. I watched your lips move. I smiled. I smiled because you seemed so happy and carefree. And when the song ended you leaned close, tired. And you pushed your forehead against mine. And you kissed me. I remember it with perfect clarity. Even months after I can still feel it on my lips, Jonah. It's still lingering here. Do you remember it? The way you kissed me like the world was ending tomorrow? The way your hands sneaked around my back and the way we held our breath? Do you remember it? Because I do. And I would give up anything just to kiss you again. Just to feel your hands around me like that first time. I would give up anything in the world for it.
Forever yours, Nyah.
P.S. "It was a mistake."
