Chapter 1: Arrival

[Warning/notice: May be slight spoilers for the game and BBL. Hiyoko picked 'To live a normal life.' And if you don't know about this game then I suggest you buy it, it's only a little bit of cash...Or you can go on Youtube and watch it on DavidXNewton, he has video commentaries on this game with a group of awesome people. Team Hatoful. Be sure to look for the videos that say the route they will take or else you might get a ton of spoilers! Or you can just read this story, I will try to follow mostly everyones route.]

You pant as you jog to your new school- trying not to be late since you woke up later than usual, which caused you to miss the bus. But luckily you arrive on time and so you think, 'Beat that mom! I knew that if I ran I wouldn't be late!'

"Finally!", you exclaim out loud, grinning happily while throwing your arms in the air, earning weird but curious glances from the students in the front of the campus. You ignore them as you walk to a empty bench and decide to sit until the bell rings.

You look around the front of the school campus as a boy with dark blue hair walked up to a girl that just entered the school gates.
He was wearing the schools uniform that consists of a light blue jacket with the schools logo and a orange tie, and dark blue dress pants.
The girl has brown shoulder length hair and she was wearing a light blue skirt and the same school jacket.
' Well don't I feel out of place', you thought sarcastically, looking down at your outfit that is (f/c) skirt and a long sleeve shirt with a (f/c) vest. Oh well, guess you had to get the school uniform soon then.

"Not everyday I see you rushing along like this!", said the boy with dark blue hair to the girl.

The girl with the shoulder length brown hair looks at him while smiling brightly. "Ryouta!" 'Now I know his name, totally not creepy and not nosy, right?'

Ryouta smiles back at her and continues, "Usually you'd have been ready for an hour by now Hiyoko! Overslept? "

Hiyoko laughs at his teasing, "Breakfast was a little hard to catch today...I can't relax without red meat inside.""
'What does she mean? Sounds as if she has to hunt for her food.', you thought to yourself, raising an eyebrow.

"Living as a hunter gatherer sounds tough...", he comments, you notice his cheeks get a slight pink tint."I'd be happy to make you breakfast, you know." You giggle to yourself quietly when you notice his attempt to flirt ,'Not bad, I'm guessing he likes her.'

"I might take you up on that offer when starvation looms. Thanks Ryouta! ", She says still smiling- maybe she didn't notice his attempt to flirt? Or maybe they are a thing?'

Ryouta suddenly looks in your direction and he smiles at you, waving a silent 'hello'. Your eyes widen, realizing that he had probably caught you staring, you quickly look down while blushing and all you could think was that he is really cute and his eyes are a beautiful shade of red.

Thankfully the school bell rings and Hiyoko exclaims, "Oh! The bell already?Come on, we need to hurry to class!"
You look up and see that Ryouta was no longer looking at you and sigh in relief. You get up from the bench just as Ryouta says, "Jeepers! No good being late on the first day!" Hiyoko quickly grabs is arm and speed walk to the doors to get to class.

'Ok where to go...I guess I'll go to the office.' Once you get there, you asked for your schedule and the lady in the office gives it to you. Looking down at the small neon paper, you see your homeroom is 2-3.
Going up the stairs, you look up at the class numbers, and finally see 2-3. You slid the door open and enter quietly as the teacher was introducing himself and it was then that you noticed everyone has a different bird type on their shoulder or on their desk.

"Good Morning everybirdie!
Err, I'm Nanaki Kazuaki, I seem to be your teacher this year...
I specialize in math and physics and also some...
other things...............
.......z z z z...." 'Is he sleeping?', you anime-sweatdrop as you hear a light snore coming from where the teacher was standing. 'Eh? This is strange. I've never had a teacher sleep so suddenly while talking.'

"Sir! Wakeup! It''s homeroom!", a voice yells, snapping the teacher awake. You turn to see Ryouta sitting in a desk, 'He's in my class?Oh he has a rock dove next to him! How cute!'

"Ah! I'm sorry... Isn't a little warm in here?", he pauses as he looks over the students then turns to you 'Oh wow he's not bad looking, he has a white quail.' "Which reminds me, we have two transfer students, Please Introduce yourself Shirogane and (Y/L/N)."

Before you can introduce yourself, a voice replies curtly. "What's the point? I have no wish to speak with commoners. Do not think that I am here because I wish to be.", you look over to the speaker and see him standing —with good posture— in front of his desk he has light blue hair and matching eyes, he has a pure white dove with fluffy feathers sitting on the desk in front of him. 'Wow, being rude to the teacher, that's not mean at all,' you think as you observe him. 'Who does he think he is calling me a commoner? Wait... Am I a commoner? I mean, I not rich and I wouldn't consider myself poor...'

"Oh, well...I guess that's that.", Mr. Nanaki replies awkwardly, snapping you out of your thoughts. It was as if he didn't just notice how rude his new student was being.

"Hey, hey, hey! That's no good!", argues Ryouta and his bird seem to agree.

"But he doesn't want to introduce himself...", Mr. Nanaki tells Ryouta.

" But we can't just let him break the rules like that, sir!", You turn and see Hiyoko, who was trying to convince the teacher of rule breaking, " The system will collaspse and we'll all turn into kulaks! [?] and dissenters!" 'What is she talking about?'

Mr.Nanaki pauses and nods, "Well, when you put it like that....Could you at least say your name, Shirogane?"

He stays silent,"....."
"Shirogane Le Bel Sakuya...",he then says after a moment of silence.
Sakuya then sits down, glaring daggers at Ryouta and Hiyoko. 'Ha! He's mad, take that! You had to say your name anyway, Le Bel Sakuya~' A small smirk is seen on your lips

Nr. Nanaki then turns to you fully and you blush at these thoughts in your mind. 'Not only was your teacher young, he was also very attractive!' "Miss. (Y/L/N), would you please introduce yourself?"

"Uh..", you step up to stand next to Mr.Nanaki and turn to face the class—you felt the blush in your cheeks get warmer— and you smile nervously, "Hello my name is (F/N) (L/N)... And I hope we can all get along...maybe become friends."

Your eyes scan the room and rest on Ryouta, Hiyoko-you notice that Hiyoko doesn't have a bird next to her- then Sakuya- you smile at him—hoping that since he was also a new student that maybe you two could be friends— but he scoffs as he looks at you and turns away. You frown, maybe you wouldn't be friends since he obviously looks like he doesn't want to be here.

"Thank you Miss (L/N), you can sit next to Shirogane", you sigh, quietly walking to the desk next to Sakuya and sit in the chair as Mr. Nanaki begins with class lessons.
