Chapter 10: Welcome back Mistresses! Wha-?! Ryouta!?

The walk home was relaxing, you passed beautiful scenery that almost made you wished that you had a professional camera to capture the view. You couldn't wait for hanami [1]! Just imagining the beauty Sakura blossom petals floating down along the with the wind was exciting. It was something you'd never get used to and it as if every moment of hanami was straight out of a manga/anime.

'Nah, those cost too much.', you thought to yourself, ' My camera will do just fine.'
Too bad you didn't have it on you, as it was still packed away.

Taking your phone out, you glanced at the time. You had time to get groceries for tonight's dinner, your mother would appreciate the gesture of cooking for tonight.

Stopping at the bus stop, you greet the old lady out of politeness," Konichiwa~"

She smiles back, nodding as her eyes crinkle, "Konichiwa." She seemed happy that you had greeted her as she kept the smile on her face.

The bus soon arrives and you let the lady step on first, she gets on and you soon follow. You pay the fee and sit in an empty seat, noticing that there wasn't much people in the bus.

You liked St. Pigeonations, it proved to be more exciting than your old school but you still missed your friend. The one friend that had befriended you on your first day at your old school. She was your Senpai [2] and you remember watching her cry dramatically when she heard the news that you were leaving the school. She had insisted that you two were to contact each other every once in a while to check up on each other — and if you needed a listening ear— you even chuckled when she said that she would hunt you down if you didn't contact her, though a bit scared. Your friend was a girl not to mess with, or her friends. And if anyone ever did, she would have a "talk" with them. She was known as the "cheerful but deadly Mafia-leader" to her kōhais [3]. To this day, you still wonder how she got that title.

Suddenly you felt your phone vibrate as your ringtone rang out. You blush deeply, embarrassed as everyone on the bus turns to look at you. [4]Forgetting to turn it on silent mode you scolded yourself repeatedly in your head.
Fumbling with the phone you end the call while apologizing to everyone.
Shutting it off, you sigh in embarrassment and once it was off, everyone minded their own business.

The bus then stops and you notice this was near the store. You get off and enter the grocery store while grabbing a small cart. Taking out your grocery list, you immediately go for the first item.

"Ah! Right! I forgot.", you take out your phone and dial her number.

It rings once and immediately it was answered, " Hey why didn't ya answer your phone?!"

"Sorry Azuma! But you had called me when I was on the bus. I couldn't disturb everyone like that!", you tell her as you grab food off the shelf.

"So what if you were on the bus? It was me who was calling!", Azuma says in an angry tone, "Ya should have told them it was someone very important on the phone! That's what I do!"

"...What? You do that?", you ask, shocked.

"As a matter of fact, I'm doing that right now!!", Azuma chuckles out.

"Eh?! Azuma! You shouldn't do that!! It's extremely rude!!", you yell out. "I'm hanging up! Call me when you're off the bus!!"

"(Name) if ya hang up on me I swear–", you ended the call before she could finish her sentence. You sigh while shaking your head, doesn't she already know that she shouldn't be on the phone when in the bus?

Did no one ever tell her? Well she always disregarded any rules. She was sort of a tomboyish in a way, not that that was a bad thing. It was a part of her charm. Though she can also be very dere-like, it was funny how you could compare her to manga characters that acted like her.
