Chapter 9 - Confusion.

He looked me in the eyes and what i saw was longing and love and kindness and hope i was zoning out but i was brought back to reality with his lips smashed against mine , his tongue was asking for permission which i granted , my hands was tousling his soft hair his hand gripped my waist and lifted me onto him so i that i was straddling him , we must have been at it for minutes when we finally broke apart we were both panting hard , trying to regain steady breathing.

"I didn't mean it" he said between gasps

"Mean what" i said equally disoriented with my breathing

"That you were nothing"

A smile broke out on my face . "I figured as much"

He lifted me off of him , gimme a minute shortcake"

"I thought we were past the nicknames"

"Oh , come on munchkin you can only change so much" he smirked , oh Elliot you royal pain in my ass.

Wheres that vibrating coming from , oh his phone , he was downstairs , i'll just answer.

"Hello"

"Who is this" it was a girls voice she sounded pissed

"You called who is this"

"i'm Jasmine , Elliot's girlfriend"

you have got to be kidding me.

Chapter 9 - confusion



"His girlfriend and he's had me waiting at the airport for over an hour now"  she didnt just say girlfriend 

"Wait you're here as in America here"

"Yes who the he.." her voice got cut off when i hung up.

In that moment it hit me , he doesn't care and he never did , he was bored and i was a good second option.

Here goes nothing. i stood in the hall way looking at his perfectly sculpted physique.

"Aria , your eyes are burning holes in my back" i could hear the smirk in his voice.

"Don't you have somewhere to be" i snapped at him

"Whoa what wrong with you"

"Whats wrong with me well how about you opening up to me and kissing me telling me that you didn't mean that i was nothing when you have a fucking girlfriend you idiot"

"I don't have a .." then his eyes got really wide they could have popped right out of the socket.

"Don't worry , get going , you don't want to keep Jasmine waiting any longer i mean she has been waiting for her boyfriend for the last hour"  i slammed his phone in his chest , he grabbed my hand as i was stalking away

"Aria wait ..." i held up my hand signaling for him to stop .

"Save it , you don't owe me an explanation , i'm not your girlfriend"

i haven't been out of my room for a couple of hours now and i was glad , Jasmine was here and she was staying in Elliot's room. Can you believe it ? she was going to be sleeping in the bed that we had shared a very passionate moment together moments before she arrived with Elliot's uncle , when i hung up on her she called him and he went running. I knew this was going to happen , which is why i prefer to keep to myself the moment i let someone close enough they take advantage of my vulnerability and hurt me. A single crystal tear escaped my cheek, i realized something in my moment of weakness , me crying wasn't all about Elliot he contributed yes but it wasn't that i was a weak , i had just been strong for too long ...

"Aria darling"

"Hello" i gave her a weak smile , Jess , Elena's mother was so warm and gentle.

"honey dinner will be ready soon , so you can go shower and put on something nice we want to make our guest feel welcome"

fuck our guest.

"Okay" that was possibly the fakest smile ever.





Dinner seemed to go on forever , especially when i was sitting right in front of a scowling Elliot who wouldn't dear look at me and an extra bubbly Jasmine.

"So how long have you guys been together" it wasn't till i had looked up and realized that the words came from my mouth and all eyes were on me.

"We were together a couple months before he left London and this long distance thing was so hard and i really needed to see him so here i am"

she was grinning like a wild hyena , i guess she picked up the scowl on my face because her smiled dropped and she was looking everywhere but my eyes.

"Mom , i have to go out is it okay if i leave?"

"Yes , you know your curfew"

"Sure you don't wanna come" she was looking at me

"Yea i'm sure."

"aria why don't you and Elliot clean up and Brian and i will take jasmine into the living room for desert"

The silence in here was almost deafening and we've been like that for almost fifteen minutes i didn't want to look at him much less be bonding with him over the dishes. I was hurt , but i had to mask that hurt with a scowl fixed on my face.

"Aria .. i can explain"

"I don't wanna hear it"

"Just let me .."

"Let you what , explain to me how you used me and then had a passionate make out session with me and was on the verge of confessing all your feelings to me right before your perfect barbie looking girlfriend comes along and you toss me to the side like a piece of meat?"

i looked him up and down with disgust , he kept opening and closing his mouth trying to find the right words to say.

"Just save it Elliot."

I was about to storm my when his hips pushed me into the wall and his firm torso rubbed against my body before i could protest his lips were smashed on mine his tongue begging for permission which i granted , my hands in his hair , his hands rubbing down my back to my butt which i grabbed and hoisted me into the air while i wrapped my legs around his firm body , he trailed kisses down my jawline to my chest , i sucked on his neck a low moan in his throat as he pushed his lips back into mine. He pulled away and looked into my eyes his voice husky when he said

"It's not what you think , she's not what you think , i want you more than you know and i will have you i just need you to wait , i cant explain it now , its too dangerous for you to know"

"why do you keep saying its too dangerous , what cant i know?"

"i want you aria .. believe me i do just hold on a bit please let me fix this" 

So he wants me. Or maybe he wants to enjoy her while she's here and have me when shes gone and i for one will not be played.

 "I refuse to stay and watch you have her while hes here then me when shes gone." i fought myself out of his grip and stood facing him

"its not like that .. i don't even .. i cant explain now but please just trust me , i mean what i say and iv'e never opened up too anyone the way i did with you just please give me a chance"

"ok but if i see you guys being all lovey dovey its done."

he smirked and looked me up and down "the only lips i want on mine are yours"

he stepped forward. Well i guess the dishes could wait.
