Chapter 18- on the run

Recap:

"I love you and i would do anything to keep you safe , I've never had someone care about me how you care about me and I see you how you try to be strong for everybody around you when you really want to be the one to have someone to be strong for you .. let me be there for you , let me make your problems mine let me fight your battles with you , you aren't alone anymore." 

I honestly didn't know what I could say I felt the wetness run down my cheeks making me aware that I was crying I moved to wipe away the tears before he saw but he did and he said 

"I know , you don't have to say anything , I know."

And that's when I knew that I had someone who would go to the ends of the earth and back for me , to ensure that I was safe and to just be there for me and that's when the clock struck midnight and I realized this birthday might have had a horrible start but I loved the ending.

Chapter 18 - on the run

"Wake up aria."

I groaned and stretched and when I finally opened my eyes I saw Elliot staring at me and the sun starting to rise behind him.

"Where are we?"

"We're here to send Elena of my uncle is waiting for us I thought it would be better if you woke her up and said your goodbyes"

"Okay , thanks"

I felt a wave of sadness rush over me , Elena was always there through everything she was always my rock and now I had to say goodbye.

"Elena wake up"

She stirred and then opened her eyes , she was always a light sleeper.

"Ari .. where are we?"

I couldn't look at her I didn't want her to see the tears threatening to spill so I kept my eyes fixed on the car floor.

'It's time to say good bye Elena , Elliot's uncle is waiting out there to take you back .."

"Oh aria ..." she grabbed me in a hug and I finally let the tears fall we sat there for a few minutes quietly crying before I pulled away and grabbed her shoulders and looked into her eyes

"I want you to be strong for me ok? I will be fine and as soon as we get things sorted out we will see each other again ok?"

I knew there was a possibility that I might never see her again but I couldn't let her know that not now. I had to stay positive.

"Just promise me that you will watch out for yourself and try and call me as soon as you can use one of those disposable phones if you have tot but call me please at least stay in touch i need to know that you re ok and safe"

I couldn't help but smile at this.

"Of course I'll call you , I love you Elena you know that right?"

"Of course I do and I love you too ari"

Here she goes with the water works again

"Okay enough crying lets get this show on the road"

We got out to see Elliot's uncle standing beside a tinted black car and Elliot with bags in his hand.

"What's in the bags?"

"I brought you guys some clothes and the other one is filled with .. well you'll see can i talk to you for a second aria"

"Sure "
