Newt's POV
-
I stared at myself in the mirror and watched as tears ran down my face.

"Newt?" I hear Tommy's voice in the hallway. "What's wrong?"

"Uh, n-nothing," I stammered, wiping my tears away. "I'm fine."

"You're not fine, you're crying." He walks in and closes the bathroom door behind him. "Tell me what's wrong."

I look him deeply in the eyes, "I don't want to go home, Tommy," I whisper, more tears rolling down my cheeks. "Your mum is so nice, mine will kill me when I get there."

"Okay, Newt, listen. You need to get your school stuff from your house this morning, is your mom at work yet?"

I check my phone for the time. "Yes, she left an hour ago, probably."

"Okay, so we'll just go to get your stuff, you can pack some clothes, and whatever else you need, then just leave her a note before we leave. Then, you'll stay with me for a while." He smiles and places a soft kiss on my lips.

"Okay, deal," I say, smiling.

Thomas' POV
-
Newt and I get ready for school quickly, so that we have time to get his things from his house.

I give him one of my white t-shirts, so that he doesn't have to wear the same thing he wore yesterday. I look a few times as he's changing. What? Don't judge me. Then he catches me looking.

"Tommy," he says embarrassed.

"Sorry," I laugh and look away.

We finally are both ready for school, and my mother had already left for work. We walk out to his car.

Driving down the road, Newt turns on the radio. Opera music starts playing, we both laugh loudly.

"Wow you have great taste in music!" I joke.

"Shut up, Tommy! I never use this thing!" He laughs his adorable laugh, then just turns the radio off. "Screw that," he says.

"Newt," I sigh. "It's kinda weird that we just met, and we're already together."

"We know each other well enough, during lunch we told each other so much about ourselves." He replies.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that," I say.

(A/N: Just go with it)

"Just forget it, Tommy. If we end up not liking each other, we'll do something about it. Just embrace it as of now, remember what I told you? I haven't been this happy in a long time." Newt pulls in his driveway.

"You're right, sorry."

He parks and looks at me, "Don't be sorry," then he kisses me on the cheek. "Stay here, I won't be long." He gets out and walks into his house.

Newt's POV
-
I walk in my house and gather my things. I pack clothes and a toothbrush, also a comb. Then, I leave a note for my mum. Just as Tommy suggested.

After I'm done, I walk back out to my car, with all my things.

I get back in and drive to school.

[A/N] I JUST REALIZED THAT IN THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY NEWT'S MOM BRINGS HIM TO SCHOOL, BUT THEN NEWT DRIVES BACK HOME. GAH IM SUCH AN IDIOT.
