E l l i e

Six hours.

Six fricking hours.

That's how long I stayed in my room.
Niall left to go take care of 'gang business' about five and half hours ago.
I would've left my room sooner, but I was too lazy.

The struggle is real.

I sighed and climbed off my unmade bed, heading out of my bedroom.
I knew Niall wasn't back yet, so I had the house to myself.

What should I do?

Eat.

I always eat.

Keep eating.

No.

It's good for you.

No.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

"Quit arguing!" I hissed to myself.
We all have those internal battles, right?

I skipped to the kitchen, making ramen noodles. Once I finished making those, I went and sat on the couch.

Watch to watch.

I scrolled through the channels, landing on the one and only iCarly.

Throwbacks, man.

I watched iCarly for about another two hours. I cleaned my bowl in the kitchen and then snuggled back into the couch.

I wish Niall was here.

As if on cue, my phone rang from upstairs. I ran quickly and grabbed my phone, answering it.

"Thomas and Horan residency." I said.

"Is this Ellie Thomas?" A female voice said.

"Yes it is," I replied.

"I called to inform that Mr. Horan has been shot." She said.

"What hospital?" I asked, frantically.

Now I know what Niall felt like when I was in the hospital.

"Midland Regional." She replied.

I said a quick thank you and hung up.
Not caring, I threw on sweatpants that were probably Niall's and leaving his large tshirt on my small frame.
Slipping on my Supras, I hopped down the long staircase.

---

I pulled up to Midland Regional Hospital. Making it into the lobby, I pushed through the crowd of people who probably were paps or fans who accumulated to see Niall.

"I'm Ellie Thomas, here for Niall Horan? I was called over the phone." I said to girl behind the desk.
She popped her bubblegum, typing something into the computer.

"Room 19C," She handed me a clipboard and I signed.
Then I was off.

I made my way to his room. Once I reached the door saying 19c, I reached for the door.l A stressful looking nurse came out before I could enter.

"Ma'am? Are you alright?" I asked her.

"Yes, I just have a patient- wait aren't you Ellie?" She asked me.
