CHAPTER 12 CONFRONTATION

Sorry guys tried to post this one last night only Wattpad wouldn't let me. They went down while trying to.

Also the new character in this book is one of my fans. I did a contest in one of my other books and she was the first to guess right. The picture at the side is Thalia.

JAME’S POV

“James I did claim your sister on the day you both were born.  But it was not like you think and your mother was there.  I felt drawn to her. I talked with Aunt Jane about what I was feeling. I told her that I felt like she was mine. Apparently she knew of the special gift the males in my family have and told me the background behind my own family’s gift. She then told me that since Princess was the one who was destined to rule if her mate ever kissed her even a peck a mark would appear on both and a bond would be formed. Your mother finished changing her and handed her to me to rock. I rocked her and talked with her. She watched me and then giggled. I pulled her close to my chest in a gentle hug and kissed her just behind her ear, at that moment a bond was formed. She and I both have a royal marking behind our ears. It’s a pair of lips with the others initials in the center. It appeared exactly where I gave her my first kiss on both of us. I was a 4 at the time. Your mother told me to never tell anyone and until today last night I had told no one, but after the so called prank my brothers and Tina played on both of us I ended up marking Princess in a way I would rather have not done.  It was either that or my wolf would have taken over.”  Terrence told me. At first he was rushing his story and then he had a little dreamy look come over his face but there at the end I could tell his wolf was trying to appear.

“Terrence what did they do that mad you so mad?” I ask him.

“Uhmmm let me explain this one bro. Do you want coffee, milk or juice with breakfast?” PJ said getting me to stand up and follow her to the dining room. 

“I had a gallon of coffee on the way here so I think I’ll take some milk.” I told her.

“T would you fix me whatever you are having as well while I talk with my brother about this. I really don’t want to get your worked up again.”  PJ tells Terrence.  “We have a big day and I think things will go better if we can keep a control on the anger. I have no doubt that he will get just as mad as you did and I don’t think I can get both of you to calm down without using my gifts. I would rather not have to do that today as I am the one who knows the real smell.”

“That is the only reason you will be going.” Terrence and I say at the same time.

“No that is the only reason I do not have to pull rank on you about this. I would be going regardless and James you know this. Terrence has yet to learn it.  You know I am still the best team leader our company has.” PJ tells both of us although she was talking to and facing me.

“Let me start with how they found out about things so you get a better idea. First of all with me masking Terrence thought I was human with a little special sweet smell. He was given the same cover story that you told me to give.  My name: PJ E Green. He had not seen me since I was 5 although we have talked almost every day since I was 10. Mom thought it best that no one know about us. Terrence knew who I was but because I only knew him as T I didn’t know he was mine because again I was masking. 

“I thought it would be funny to pull a prank on him. Apparently he finally figured out who I was after he got a little sleep. Oh he had been on 48 hour shift when Tina was attacked, then once he slept thought about all he had seen and realized who I was. We talked after he got up through our link and he told me that he would be claiming me today. That he was a part of this pack and he knew about last night’s dinner as the prank and told me to have fun. Well I was so excited about everything that I let it slip. Then I had to explain about our connection and I knew when he rubbed his mark I received pleasure and I knew he did too. I told them about how on his birthday he talked with me for hours and then they said they knew who my mate was even without me knowing who he was. They then told me they decided that it would be in their best interest if we didn’t pull the prank on Terrence. I told them that my mate told me to have fun with my prank.

“That was when Tina suggested that instead of playing a prank on Terrence that I needed to try and prank my mate by making him uncomfortable. The guys told me to rub my mark every few minutes during the dinner just to make him a little uncomfortable. I decided not to do that. It would be just plain mean but apparently it got me to thinking a lot about him and I rubbed my mark to the point that well Terrence almost lost control of his wolf. After the dinner was over but before dessert he stood up and well let’s just say he had the biggest boner I have ever seen. He leaned over and gave me the sign that only he and I knew. I thought I would die at that point from embarrassment because I realized that I had caused his problem. He ran me out of the house and far enough into the woods that no one could hear us and marked me after giving me the most amazing kiss. I knew he was fighting his wolf so when he told me to go to the cottage that is what I did although I kept connected to him and when he faced Tad, Tad was humble when he realized what had happened. Tom on the other hand became belligerent and wanted to fight. Terrence and Tad both warned him but no he wanted to fight so I think before it was over most all his bones were broken. He would attack Terrence and Terrence would throw him into a tree. This went on until I came and told Terrence enough and calmed him down.” I told James the story.

“So what did you do to Tina? I think she of all people should have known better and it sounds like she was the instigator.” I asked Terrence knowing that Tina loved a good prank.

“Well I told her that she was not allowed to change into her wolf unless her pups or PJ was in danger without mine or Princess’ permission.” Terrence said.

“Wow that’s a pretty tough punishment. You do realize she has run every day of her life since her change and before that she would run with us. I was actually saddened to lose her as a team member. She is a great fighter and I would use her as a team leader when we had to send several teams in especially when there was a woman or child involved. That was the reason I was not surprised to find out she was a Luna.” I tell Terrence.

“After dealing with Tina I made Tad run with me until my wolf was worn out. He had to really push himself the last hour and a half. I think he may still be in wolf form between here and the pack house asleep where he dropped.” Terrence tells me.

“I noticed that you haven’t finished the mating. Care to explain?” I asked.

“Well I want it to be special. I am not too happy of the way I marked Princess but I also realize that because of what happened it couldn’t be helped.  I want to wait until the right moment to finish the mating. Your mother even talked with me about it.”  Terrence said.

We continued to talk until we were finished eating, while we were talking my team arrived.

We heard the team arrive and PJ went to let them in. All of the sudden I heard PJ squealing. I knew she had seen Thalia. Thalia was almost as close to PJ as Tina. Thalia is the daughter of my beta and she has been gone all summer looking for her mate. Her dad had asked that she be allowed to go with him to some summer exercises for future betas. She left before the graduation ceremony and returned last night. She is another female who often was used as a team leader on missions.

As PJ brings Thalia in to meet Terrence I notice a funny face come on him. I ask him what the problem is and he looks at me tells me he will tell me later but first he has to tell talk with his dad.

When we get to the spot of the incident I notice Tad wasn’t with the group.

“Uncle Mark where is Tad I was looking forward to seeing him again?”  I ask.

“Well, I needed someone to stay back with the pack. I’m not sure how long this will take and since he is the beta I thought he should be the one to stay?”  Uncle Mark says.

PRINCESS WHY IS TAD REALLY STAYING BEHIND? YOU KNOW I CAN SPOT A LIE AND THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY A LIE.  WHY IS UNCLE MARK LIEING TO ME AND WHY COULDN’T TERRENCE TELL ME WHAT WAS GOING ON?  I mind link to Princess.
