"Alright, now here we are." My dad parked the car at Kings Cross Station. I could already see loads of older students walking with trolleys towards the platform.

"Ooooh there's another one, and one more..." Anna seemed to be enjoying spotting every single student also going to Hogwarts.

"Now, Elsa, you've got all your things?" My mum asked.

"Yes. Everything is in my trunk. Amycus is in his cage-" I started to respond when Anna cut me off.

"Oh there's the Malfoys!" She screamed. I whirled around to see them coming towards our car. I quickly got out and ran to the back where dad had pulled out my trunk. I helped him get it onto the trolley just as the Malfoys reached us.

"Lucius, Narcissa! How are you?" Dad greeted Mr and Mrs Malfoy. The parents started talking as we walked towards the platform.

"How are you feeling?" Draco asked.

"Fine. You?"

"Great! I'm so excited-" he was cut short.

"THERE IT IS! COME ON!" Anna screamed as she ran towards the barrier.

"Anna! Come back, the muggles are staring!" My mum called.

"You ready?" Draco asked. I was too nervous to speak so I just nodded.

"On three. One-" we slowly started towards it," two-" we were running now," THREE!"
We went straight through. I let out a breath I didn't realise I had been holding.

"Wasn't so bad!" I laughed.

"Come on, let's go find a compartment. Our parents won't be far behind." Draco said advancing towards the scarlet steam train. I walked beside him looking around at all the other families saying goodbye to their children. The further down the train the more comfortable and happy I felt. We almost got halfway down the train when Anna came whizzing by.

"Merlins beard, it's so long. It looks so much better in real life." She squealed to no one in particular.

I mentally face palmed.

We got on the train and found an empty compartment where we lugged our trunks into the racks above. When we got back onto the platform our parents were gathered ready to say goodbye.

"Bye sweetheart. You've got all your books and robes? Make sure to owl us if you need anything." My mum fussed about me.

"Yes mum I've got everything. Bye dad, bye Anna." I hug them all. I'll miss them, even Anna sometimes. We still had ten minutes before the train left.

"Did you here that El? Harry Potter is coming to Hogwarts!" Draco told me.

"Harry Potter? The actual Harry Potter?" Anna screamed excitedly

"Anna!" We all scolded her.

"Alright you too had better be getting on the train, it'll be leaving soon." Narcissa told us checking her watch.

"Bye." We called boarding the train. The last thing I heard before we got to our compartment was Anna.

"Why can't I go to Hogwarts? I can't stand to wait another year!" Anna complained.

We laughed to ourselves as we took our seats and waved to our families. Anna looked close to tears as our parents waved. The train started to move and still with tear streaked cheeks, Anna ran beside us smiling until it was too fast. Soon my family was just a small speck far away.

I sat down from the window just as a girl and boy opened our compartment door.

"Sorry, do you mind? Everywhere else is full." The girl in the door asked.
