After a few days we arrived in LA. Everything was amazing; Dallas was nothing compared to all of this. We had just entered the main city and were driving by the coast; my mouth was hanging wide open.

“Close your mouth or a fly might enter” Austin said from the driver’s seat. After we had arrived at the departure place, all the guys had gotten into their cars and I was, of course, driving in Austin’s.

“Sorry, it’s just so amazing! The closest to LA I’ve ever been is western Texas and I don’t think that counts” I said with a small laugh. I fell into my mind place again and took in everything we drove by. We drove into a suburban neighborhood and stopped by a two story house. It was off-white and had a beautiful big porch out front. It looked rather old on the outside to be honest, but still cozy somehow.

“Welcome to my humble home” Austin said giving my hand a reassuring squeeze. I gave him a small smile and took a deep breath. I was sweating like a pig and shaking like a dog; I was starting a new chapter of my life and taking a hell of a big step. Austin left the car and raced over to my door; he opened it and helped me out. He took my hand and led me to the porch, to the front door, and finally entering the house. Taking that the outside looked old really tricked your mind; it was old on the inside too but not old like it was falling apart; no, old like looking old but being sparkling new. The walls were cold brick which had been grinded, the floor was made out of wood and had been grinded too, it really made me speechless. In the ceiling there was spots build in and a huge set of stairs was presented right in front of us. To the left was a dining room and a double glass door to the kitchen; to the right there was a hug living room with flat-screen-TV and gaming station.

“So this is my home, let me show you around” Austin said gesturing for me to take his hand. I took it and he led me through the house.

“I’ll start with the things you’ve already noticed” he said and turned us to the left. He showed me the biggest dining table in a private home I’ve ever seen. The wood was un-doubly oak and was baized so it was dark-brown and on the corners was big dark nails inserted to hold it together; it looked like it had been taking right out of the middle-age. A big lamp was hanging from the ceiling; it was made out of some sort of fabric.

“I don’t quite know if you can see it, but this is the dining room” he joked. I let out a little giggle.

“I’m not sure” I said giving him a wink. He led us further into the house and into the kitchen. In the middle there was an island with gas-stove, and bar-stools where you could eat. The kitchen table with sink and coffee maker was on the other side with a window which shoved the garden. The fridge was huge.

“Just imagine how much bacon you could fit in there” I said

“Remind me to try that one day” Austin said with a laugh. “And don’t look out the window just yet, I want to show you the garden in a much more special way” He said with a grin on his face. I gave him a questioning look but he was already on to the next room. There was another door in the kitchen the led behind the stairs. On our left was a door similar to the one to the kitchen, it led outside into the garden. To our right there was a door.

“This is one of three bathrooms in the house, well it’s actually not a bathroom more just a toilet” Austin said opening a door showing the small toilet. There was no window but there was plenty of light; inside there was a toilet and a sink. He closed the door and dragged me on into the huge living room. There was a huge black-leather couch and an enormous TV with gaming station.

“Living room” He said. I looked closer at the gaming station and saw a Wii, PlayStation 2 and 3, and an x-box 360. A cupboard held the games and a few DVD’s.
