Chapter 2

*the next day*

Kellin POV

I know im dating Jaime, but we havent been going great lately. Like the whole time Desiree was in the shower we were sitting on our phones not talking. We faked being so into each other because Jaime wanted Desiree to think she was in a really good relationship.

I felt bad an all for faking but what when we went out for dinner I felt a real connection with Desiree. At first I thought all we would be was great friends, but then when she came to my house and we played video games and all that. I really wanted to kiss her. I wanted to be more than friends.

I've decided that Im going to try talking to Desiree about me breaking up with Jaime to date her and to see if it all really is worth it. If Desiree doesnt feel the same I might break up with Jaime anyways. But who knows.

I really wanted to talk to Desiree as soon as I could, and I wasnt going to do it over text. I decided to call her and see if she could.*ring, ring* *ring, ring*

"hey sorry I cant take your call right now. Leave a short message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. -beeeeeep-"

"Hey desiree its Kellin, I need to talk to you, and I was wondering if you were free. So yeah, give me a shout when you get this."

Ugh, I hate leaving messages.

I got out of bed and had a quick shower. I got dressed and put on my black skinny jeans and my 'country' shirt, and my black TOMS.

I wasnt sure what I wanted to do today but I didnt want to sit around at home. I went through my phone and found Jesse's number.

'Hey you busy today??-kellin'

I slipped my phone into my pocket and went to the kitchen and looked for some food. I found some pancake mix but I really didnt feel like that at all. Plus it was 1:30 im not really into the whole breakfast food right now. I was walking to the couch when my phone binged

'nah im just sitting at home playing xbox, feel free to come over-jesse'

I quickly replied back

'ok, im just going to get some wings then ill be over-kellin'

I slid my phone back into my pocket and grabbed my car keys. I went out the driveway and hopped into my car and drove to 'Wings'. The place had literally all kind of wings. I got some hot wings and some teryaki ones and grabbed a monster from their drink cooler thingy.

I got my wings and drove to Jesse's house. I walked in and went straught to his basement and we started to play Socom. We played for a bit then stopped to eat our wings.

"so are you going to break up with Jaime yet?" Jesse asked while stuffing his face with wings. I wasnt sure if I should bring up Desiree or not. " yeah probably soon" . We kept talking about random stuff and about Jesse met a girl names Ashley that he really liked.

Finally it was time to go. I hopped into my car and I checked my phone, I had two texts from Desiree.

'Hey kellin, Im free tomorrow if you want to talk then. Or you could come over tonight and we can talk? :) -Desiree'

'Helloo? are you coming over or..? -Desiree'

I replied back

'Sorry I didnt see your text, ill come over now if thats okay with you?-Kellin'

she texted back almost instantly

'yeah sure :) I'll be waiting.-Desiree'

I pocketed my phone and headed to Desirees house, or well her parents house. I got there and parked on the side of the street. I walked up to her door slowly thinking of what to say of her parents opened up the door. I was halfway up her driveway when I thought of it. "Hi, my name is Kellin. Im here to hangout with your daughter." I practised aloud.

I heard giggling and I looked up to see Desiree standing at the front door trying to keep from bursting out laughing. I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck. " wow,  thats embarrising" I laughed a little.

Desirees POV

I heard Kellins car park outside. Luckily my parents were out for the night so it wouldnt be weird for him. I went to the front door to wait for him. I dont think he realized I was there because he started talking while he was walking up my driveway. I almost burst out laughing when he said "Hi, my name is Kellin. Im here to hangout with your daughter.".

He looked up at me. " wow,  thats emabrrising" he said while laughing. I invited him in and we went to my room.

Authors Note: Sorry for the short chapter.. :/ All this is, is basically filler. I just want to hurry up and get past this part aha.
