Maddox's P.O.V

'Why was Luna so scared. She looked as if she was remembering something. Something horrible. The vulnerability in her eyes said it all'. My mind couldn't grasp the thought that she was scared.

I hear a scratching sound come from my door.

I walk over there with my gun behind me. I look through the peephole and see my dog sitting there.

I let out a relived sigh.

The next day at school I watched Luna from afar. Her blue hair blew in the wind.

Her face was emotionless. She had a new book with her.

'So she does like reading'. I smile at the thought. One less questions to figure out about her.

I head to my class and wait for the always late teacher to arrive.

My mind drifts from thought to thought wondering about the possibilities that could happen.

"Sorry I'm late class". Mr Watson apologized.

He then fixed his black thick framed glasses. Everyone in the class sighed.

We were used to it by now. Mr Watson then started lecturing us on our grammar.

Walking to my Ford pick up truck I'm stopped by a dainty hand on my forearm.

My eyes dart to the side and catch a glimpse of blue.

"Yes Luna"? I ask. "I did some research on you". She States. " That man who entered your house was your father correct ". It wasn't a question but a statement.

I sigh and drop my head. " We all have skeleton's in our closet. Some choose to stay still while the others choose to rattle". I suck some air in. "But not everyone is lucky enough to have quiet skeletons ".

With that I shake off her small pale hand and walk to my truck.

What I wasn't expecting was for the passenger side door to open and for a girl with blue hair to be sitting there with a devious smile plastered on her face.
