Maddox's P.O.V

I watch out of the corner of my eye as Katherine better known as Kat approaches me with Luna's cousin also known as Kat's boyfriend.

When they finally come to a halt I twist my body to acknowledge their presence.

"Yes." I reply gruffly.

"It's Luna. " Kat spoke softly. "We've noticed that she trusts you. " Her brown eyes held happiness and yet behind all that happiness there was this shard of sadness.

Kat's lips pressed into a line. Her forehead scrunched up as she thought over her next words carefully.

When Kat went to open her mouth to let sound escape a voice appeared blocking out hers.

"If you hurt her you'll be sorry. " Vincents got straight to the point with a deadly tone that showed how serious he was.

But I knew.

I knew that before hand. I knew if I hurt Luna I would be in trouble .

"That's all. " He grunted. With those final words Vincent wrapped his arm around Kat's waist and tugged her away.

Before they were out of my vision Kat turned her head to face me. Her brown locks bounced as she did so.

She mouthed a sorry and disspeared into the crowd.

The ringing sound echoed throughout the school signalling the end of the toutre we must endure.

As I was walking home sounds of heavy boots followed me no matter where I went.

"Son acknowledge me. " A deep voice spoke. I stopped dead in my tracks.

"I'm not your son you as*hole. " I spat. A loud laugh echoed throughout the dark silent night.

"Oh but my boy. You are. You may not realize it but you are my child. My blood flows through your veins. " My body spun around swiftly and my knuckles connected with his jaw.

A sickening crunch echoed throughout the night wich gave me an odd feeling of satisfaction.

When I raised my head to look at the man who killed my mother and sister. A smile met me.

A smile that made my bones shutter in fear and my most gruesome nightmares seem like a happy dream.

"See you are my child. " The killer spoke after a few moment of silence.

My chest heaved up and down. Deep ragged breaths were heard; they sounded like a monster.

But the truth is there was no monster.

No bogeyman.

No ghost.

Only a human stood there.

Hey my lovelies. No Luna in this chapter sadly.

But I am now back on a role. I now have inspiration. Don't know where it came from but it's there.

Any ways I've got two four covers made and I would like your help in deciding which ones should be used.

They will be in the note I'm posting.
