Chapter Four

Maddox's P.O.V

I walk over to my couch and turn on the news. Breaking news, Ryder Feno broke out of prison five hours ago. He was arrested for abuse and sexual contact against and his son Maddox Feno and his wife Valerie Feno along with the murder of Natlia Feno'.

The reporter spoke.

A knock sounded from the door.

I sprinted to my room.

I sprint in there and say one word that had Xenia growling. "He escaped".

I start franticly shaking Luna.

"Wake up now"! I yelled. "What"? Her voice sounded tired.

I go to my closet and pull out two guns.

I shove one in my waist band and the other in Luna's hands.

"If someone other than me comes near you. Shoot them". I command.

I then pick her up bridal style and put her in a room that is covered well.

"What's going on". She cries. "What ever you do. Do not leave this room". I demand. "But-". She protests. "Promise me". I plead.

She nods relunctly.

I close the door and walk down the stairs to the living room. That's where he sat.

"Father". I sneer. He stands up."Don't you dare forget who your talking to". His voice bellows.

I lower my head. My instincts kicking in.

' What would Natlia say if she saw you now'! My subcousios screamed. "She would hate me". I whisper.

"What was that boy"! He hollered. "I said. "Natlia would hate seeing me cower below a coward". I yell.

His eyes harden. He stalks towards me as if I was a prey and he was a predator.

I grab my gun and point it at him.

"Are you really gonna shoot that"? He throws his head back and let's out a huge sinister cackle .

I move my finger to the trigger and pull it.

Minutes past.

"You missed"! He yells. "That was a warning now leave"!

"Fine. But I'll be back". He says sweetly.

When I know he's gone I run to the hidden room and see Xenia standing in a protective stance.

"Luna you can come out now". I say. She slowly creeps out and her face shows she is scared.

"Come here". She comes barreling towards me. "It's okay. I promise. But right now you need to leave. He's gonna come back. But I need you to keep that gun on you at all times".

She nods.

'This is the first time I've ever seen her scared. Even at school. In all the many fights she has been in she was never scared

"Your walking home correct"? I question. She nods. "Xeina. Follow her at all times". She gives a nod and goes by the front door.

"Be safe".

She then grabs her stuff and leaves.

"Please be safe". I whisper. I then pick up my phone and dial a number.

"Hello this is Radley Sanitarium, how may we help you". The voice speaks.

"Valerie Feno is in danger. Keep an eye on her. Ryder Feno has broken out of prison. Goodbye.". I say calmly.

"Wait-". Is all I hear before I cut the line. I sigh.

"So much for a project". I grumble.

Oohh we know Maddox's secret. But why did Luna act the way she did. Why would she let her vunrabule side show.

On another note why do you think Luna dyed her hair blue?
