I just stared at my friends who surrounded me with worried looks plastered on their face. It seemed as if they were waiting for me to scream and swear or faint. They had a right to think that because I was thinking about the first option and felt like I would do the second one. But yet still, I was too calm on the outside. Like the quiet before the storm or something like that. I took a big gulp and a breath in. "How could you not tell me this?" I asked Jennifer. She was sitting at my vanity set with the light bulbs casting a glow around her multi- coloured hair.

Her lips seemed pale and quivering, scared that the only werewolf in here would rip her head off. Of course that would mean me ripping her head off and I wouldn't do that. Yet, considering that I would change soon and my mood swings are jumping from happy to being ready to tear someone to shreds in less than a second. More worse then a girl on her period. "I'm sorry Ari. I did tell you but my voice must have been to quiet. The bell is what made you stop hearing from what I said. I actually thought you heard me because you nodded your head. When you didn't show up here before lunch I got worried but I still waited. I'm sorry." She rambled on and on.

Now I felt guilty for asking why she didn't tell me. "Jennifer it's ok I promise. I'm sorry I didn't ask you what you said afterwards. But hey, at least I know I can eat meat without having someone fuck with my mind to make me want it." I said looking at the better side of things. I smiled but it wavered a little bit. They knew that I was bluffing about being calm when I just found out I ate meat without getting my brain messed around with. Even though they saw through me I still smiled.

Sean sighed and moved next to me and hugged me. "I know this must be hard for you. But you didn't throw up or anything so that is a bonus." He said and looked at me in the eyes like a boyfriend. In the corner of my eye I saw Chris raise and eye brow and Dalla wiggle her eye brows.

Of course it was Dalla who spoke first about Sean's actions. "What is going on here?" She asked us. I felt blood heat up my cheeks and my neck. "Sean? Do you mind filling us in here?"

Instead of him answering Dalla I did. "Nothing I hope. Sean told me he likes me and want to try us going out. I said I can't and he said he will wait. But yet still he wants to try and convince me by flirting with me and show off me to other guys as if I was his." I spoke while still looking into Sean's eyes. Sean smiled a big smile that showed his elongated fangs. "Sean why is your fangs bigger?" I asked.

"I'm possibly in love and when a vampire likes someone their fangs grow to try and impress the lady. Usually vampires like vampires so it usually works." He said without any embarrassment, obviously he wanted me to know what it meant. He leaned in close and whispered in my ear. "Do you like them?" He asked. For some reason that made me blush even harder because it sounded kind of sexual.

I moved away from him and rolled my eyes. "Anyways how was everyone's day?" I asked looking around purposefully ignoring Sean's question.

"Mine was good. I baked cake, and I even met a cute guy. No real classes and it was slack. How about you Chris?" Dalla spoke first.

"Mine was good. I met someone cute and fascinating. I also had a piece of Dalla's cake." Chris said and dodged looking at me. Did that mean that I was that someone? I thought to myself. Of course not you idiot. Just because one person likes you- a lot- doesn't mean that every guy you know does. That pesky voice said. It made me feel bad a little bit so I decided to ignore that whole idea of Chris liking me.

I looked at Jennifer and saw here frowning, looking worried. "A warlock came up to me and told me something bad will happen this full moon." She whispered. That made everyone freeze, hold their breath, and stare at her. This was a bad thing, a very bad thing. Definitely how I would be changing that night for my first time and I was told that I would just black out until the moon was gone. a cold, haunting shiver creeped up my spine. "He said this strange poem and told me that he had to tell me, to decipher it and tell you guys. But I don't know how to decipher it." She finished speaking.
