.3 - work hard, play hard.

after luke took out his lip piercing, he walked back to his ring to see ashton and ryan talking, ryan slipping on his gloves. curly, also known as ashton (luke didn't know yet), was crossing his arms and glances out of the ring, luke catching his eye. he turned to him completely and had a smirk on his face.

"you're hemmings? luke hemmings?" ashton raised an eyebrow at this. he's genuinely surprised that the person was the hemmings that beat the best guy in town at age 15.

"yes. now get out of my ring." luke met him dead in the eyes, a pissed off look on his face. ashton chuckled, stepping out of the ring and walks towards luke.

"don't call things that don't have your name on it, hemmo." ashton bumped into lukes shoulder as he walked past, luke not moving.

"hey curly?" luke asked, still standing there. ashton turned around at this, looking at him. "yes?"

"next time i tell you it's my ring, get the fuck out of it." luke replies and he walks over to the ring, setting bottle down and looks up near the top of the ring. "see that plaque up there?" he asked, pointing to it. ashton nodded, looking at it. and he finally realized, there was a small 'hemmings' written on the top, and his eyes widened.

"don't fucking step in my ring, ill beat the shit out of you." luke steps into the ring and ryan gives him a look, luke shaking his head and slips on his gloves. ryan tries to talk to luke once more, but gets silenced by luke snapping at him.

later on that night, luke steps into the gym shower. it's later than normal, it being close 11. luke normally goes home around nine, and is in bed by midnight for school the next morning. now, he won't be home until close to 11:45, which means he won't be in bed until about 2 or 3. luke is already about to fall asleep in the shower, being overworked.

after the incident with ashton (luke learned the name from ryan), ryan made him stay later, yelling at him for every single thing he didn't wrong and yelling at him for being rude to ashton. ryan is like lukes father, seeing his left when he knew he was gay.

lukes dad leaving made luke stronger. he was trying his best to become the best, whether it's in school or its being a dad or being a fighter. he's trying he
is best.

luke slipped out of the shower and dried off quickly, pulling sweats on and a new loose tee. he slipped on his slip-on shoes and walked out of the ring. he got into his car and headed home, crashing on the bed as soon has he laid down on it.

that night, luke dreamed about pizza, the raven-haired boy who he hasn't learned the name of, and ashton.
