UNEDITED (this is more than I was expecting it to be, 1542 words more)

November 16, Saturday

I have known Max for a little over three months. Three months. Within those three months, I have received pizza, hugs, concert tickets, random playground visits, pizza, a visit to the Doctor Who experience in Cardiff, sticky notes (which I gave to him because I do not use them at all), pizza, and a new bed set.

Did I mention pizza? He works at a pizza place, and every Friday, I get a box filled with half of my favourite pizza and the other half has Max's favourite pizza. The box only lasts that night because Mike and Ike like to come over and eat the rest of it. Every single Saturday morning. And I like to get my homework done during Saturdays.

In the middle of October, my English class went to go visit the Castles of Ireland so I was gone for a week and I left the room to Max. By himself. All alone. With him being nineteen, I thought that he could handle being alone in a room for a week. He actually did a beautiful job of not making a mess of the place. The thing he did ruin was my blanket that Mr. David had given me... and my mattress and my wooden bed.

Since he likes to sit on top of the roof outside of our windows, he left the window opened when he went outside to go take pictures of the falling snow outside. After being outside for ten minutes, he came back inside and went to go take a warm shower. He had left the window wide open. And he usually goes through the middle window and I have no idea why he went through the window closest to my bed.

When he got out of the shower, he entered the room with the towel around his waist, and he found out that leaving the window outside is not the best thing to do.

The blizzard outside had kicked up and the snow that was swaying around outside came inside and covered my bed in its coldness and wetness. Thus, ruining my bed all together.

When I came back home, I was little shocked to see that I did not have a bed at all. Max told me that it was coming the following weekend. So while I was waiting for my new bed and mattress, I slept in Max's bed and he slept on the floor.

Hey, he ruined my bed.

Mr. David paid for the new bed and mattress but Max had to pay for the new bed setting. Being the nice person that I am, I paid half (I felt bed for him after he got yelled at for letting snow enter the dorm).

During that week of waiting, Max kept on bringing up the topic of him and me sleeping in the same bed together. He even said that we had already done it so what was the point of him sleeping on the floor. On the last day, Friday, we did sleep in the same bed. We slept with our backs against each other; our faces away from the other person.

Over the past three months, we have not talked about the scars on my arm since the playground. Every once in a while he tell me the temperature outside, that was only when it was above seventy degrees. And with Europe getting closer to winter, that was starting to decrease. Even when it was eighty degrees, I wore a light sweater so I would not be too hot and so my scars would not show.
