Chapter 20:
Peyton's P.O.V:
When I got home, I stormed up to my room. A second later Abigail came into my room.
"How did it go? What's wrong?" Abigail asked as she sat down next to me on my bed.
"I met him and got the answers that I wanted. I thought I wanted to hear them, but I don't think I really did. I wish I didn't go out there to ask him those questions." I said not able to look into her eyes.
"Hey, what did you expect. You already knew the answers. You just wanted to hear them from you."
"I guess you're right. I guess I just hoped that there was some other reason. I knew that it was what I thought, but I just hoped."
"I know, but you knew that was what you were going to get going to his house."
"I know. It's just something in my past that I need to accept and move on."
