Chapter 13

Tarah POV

We arrived to the rink and I saw Charlie get out of his car

"Tarah!" he said waving

We ignored him and walked into the rink. We go to our seperate locker rooms

"Good luck, I promise not to hurt you in this game" he said with a wink

"Bring it on Banks"

He smiled and kissed me, not on the head but on the lips

We seperated and I saw Charlie staring at us

"I'll see you after"

"Bye"

He walked into his locker room and I walked into mine after looking back at Charlie

"Hey Tarah"

"Hey Connie"

Connie has been my best friend ever since I moved here

"How are you and Charlie"

"Um...we aren't friends anymore"

"Oh, what happened"

"I don't want to talk about it"

I got my skates on and felt Charlie staring at me

I looked up and he smiled at me, I ignored it and walked out to the rink

I skated towards the bench to put my water bottle down and someone skated next to me, it was Charlie..

"Tarah, stop please talk to me"

I ignored him until he grabbed my wrist really hard

"Ow! Charlie let go!!! Your hurting me!!"

Adam skated over and forced Charlie away

"Stay away from me Hawk"

He let go and skated away

"You okay?"

"Yeah.."

My wrist really hurts

"Alright team get over here" said coach

We all skated over to him and he told us the game plan

"Tarah, go center and Charlie to her right and Connie to her left, alright Ducks, let's fly!"

We all gathered to the ice and Adam was at center where I am, he winked at me and waited for the puck to drop

I took it and skated down the rink and scored!

The whole team cheered

It was now 4-4 and we were in a timeout

"I want Tarah out of the game" said Coach Riley

Adam and McGill looked at each other

I stole the puck and started towards the goal until I felt a sharp pain in my wrist

McGill whacked me in the wrist with his stick and I went straight to the ground

"Ow!!!" I said screaming in pain

Then things went black

"What did you do" said Adam kneeling down by me

"My job" he said skating away
