Chapter 16

Tarah POV

We got to the lake and put our skates on and joined everyone on the ice

"Hey Tarah, how's your wrist"

"Hey Connie, It doesn't hurt too bad"

"Will you be able to play?"

"I should be, my gloves have pretty good padding"

She smiled at me and walked away

Adam hugged me from behind and out of the corner of my eye I see Charlie staring. I smiled at him and walked to center ice against Adam

He stole the puck from me and scored

"Nice shot Cake-eater"

"Whatever you say Boo"

I smiled and skated away

it was 3-4 we where down by 1 and Julton shot me the puck, I skated down to the goal but then there was a sharp pain in my stomach

"Ow!!!" I said hitting the ground

Everything was fading out

"Tarah, wake up!!" Adam said

I blacked out and was out for about an hour

I woke up in the same hospital room as I was before

"Adam"

He ran to me and it looked like he'd been crying

"Are you crying?"

"I am so happy but so scared at the same time"

"Why, what's wrong?"

Just then the doctor walked in

"Your awake"

I felt something move inside of me

"Woah"

Adam smiled at me

"What was that?" I said very confused

"Tarah, you are about 5 weeks pregnant"
