Chapter 11

Tarah POV

The next morning, I was woken up by the smell of bacon. I got up and put spandex and a tank on and walked out of the room

"Good morning beautiful" said Banks with a smile

"Morning"

I sat at the table and watched him

"When are your parents suppose to be home"

"They are on a business trip, they won't be back till next week"

He handed me a plate of food and kissed me on the forehead

"What was that for" I said smiling

He didn't answer he just smiled

"Adam, will you go with me to Charlie's house"

"For what?"

"I need to get my hockey gear for today"

"Sure" he said with a smile

Charlie POV

I woke up to my mom screaming 'Breakfast' I got up and looked over at Tarah's bed but there's no Tarah. She's probably already downstairs

I got dressed and walked downstairs

"Mom where is Tarah"

"I don't know sweetie but I have to go, I'll see you at the game"

She walked out the door

"Tarah! Where are you!"

Still no response

I called her cell but she didn't answer

Tarah POV

Adam and I walked to my house to get my gear for the game, I stopped in front on his house and took a deep breath

"Hey, it's okay, I'm right here with you"

He grabbed my hand and we went inside

"Tarah, is that you?"

He comes around the corner and looks at our hands

"Tarah, where have you been"

I didn't say a word to him

I pulled Adam into my room

"Tarah, he is not allowed in there!"

I didn't stop I kept packing

"Tarah, what the hell is wrong with you"

Adam walked out into the hall while I finished up. I grabbed my things and walked out. Charlie grabbed my wrist hard

"Charlie, let go"

"Tarah why is he here, I told you that you weren't supposed to see him again"

"Stop acting like my dad"

I could see him getting mad and then I felt a slap on my face. Charlie Conway slapped me

Adam came back in and saw me on the floor, he picked me up and my things and carried me outside

"Tarah..I'm so sorry" said Charlie in the background

I am never stepping a foot in that house again
