It's the last hour of the day which is basketball I walked to the locker room as the bell rung opening the locker room door and walking in

" You quit? " Alexis asked me I raised an eyebrow confused

" No why would you think that? "

" Because coach said she did something bad and you might quit "

" She did something unacceptable but I don't like my business out there and I would never quit doing something I love because she fucked up. " I said nonchalantly

" I won't be practicing here though because if I do and she says anything about the situation I'd do something or say something to get me kicked off the team " she nodded " I'll be in the bleachers " I said as coach walked in

She tried to grab me but I moved walking to the bleachers sitting down texting Kel

"Ma'aliyah wait" she tried to grab me but I moved.

"No thanks" I walked out.

" JaHani start the team warm ups " She called out taking a seat next to me " Listen I'm sorry "

" Yea you said that . I don't want an apology I want to know why you think it's okay to date my father and you know how I feel about that . I've cried to you so many times about my mom and women approaching my dad and how I feel and all this time you've been dating him for almost a year and you want me to act like nothing happen? " I said looking around

" I didn't think you would care "

" Are you serious!? " I yelled she looked around seeing the girls staring

" come out in the hall " she said through gritted teeth " Get back to practice! " she yelled

We walked into the hallway. I made sure to bring my backpack and my phone

" I understand you are mad at me but you will respect me. " she pointed at my chest " I know how many times you've cried to me so you don't have to remind me of that . But when me and your father started dating we wanted to keep it between us until we were ready. Yes we should've took your feelings into consideration but that wasn't the case " I scoffed folding my arms

" I'm sorry that we lied about something that important but you better get yo head out yo ass and get your shit together because next time you cuss me out I'll be sitting your ass on that damn bench during the playoffs " I looked at her widening my eyes " And I mean it! " she snapped

" You better have yo ass prepared because after spring break at practice ooooo " she chuckled " I'm running yo ass the whole time it's just gone be me and you " she pointed to herself and me " Be ready "

" Okay " I mumbled suddenly my attitude was gone she started to walk away towards the gym

" Take yo ass home and come back with a better attitude Ma'Aliyah " she said entering the gym I smirked she don't take no shit for to long

I hesitated to come here but I need to come . Getting out of the car I sighed walking to my moms tombstone seeing her name I started to cry

I sighed " I know you see what's going on and I'm sorry I didn't think before speaking. "

" Maybe I'm overreacting " I shrugged " Maybe I'm not, I'm just confused and all these emotions are hitting me at once " I sighed " You know me and emotions ain't friends, we enemies because they be playing " I rolled my eyes as tears continued to stream down my face.
