Blue hair bet

*the next day after I get home*

" kid wanna play?" Asked j while putting a deck of cards on my bed

"How about we put some bets on it?" I said

" sure if I win you haft to dye all of your hair blue like Johnnys color blue" said j

" if I win you haft do dye your hair bright green wait what card game are we playing?" I said

" war" said j while dealing the cards

*after the game*

" I win kid"said j

"Ok I'll go get it dyed" I said

*2 hours later*

" j I'm back" I said closing the door

" it looks pretty" said j while pushing it outs my eyes

" yeah I like it " I said

" the only one of us who can pull off colored hair"said kurlzz

*A couple hours later at 4PM*

" sup guys Charlie what are you eating?" I said getting a pb&j out the fridge

"Buffalo wings"said Charlie

" buffalo don't have wings" I said while sitting across from Charlie and next to kurlzz at the table

" good god have you been living under a rock?" Asked kurlzz

" well let's see I was an orphan in Ireland and half of the time they forgot to feed us  and when we did get fed we got Apple that why I like em so much" I said

" want one kiddo warning their pretty hot" I said he passed me one

*i take a bite*

" that hot" I said

" I warned you" said Charlie

" what did you eat while you were in Iraq?" Asked kurlzz

" peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I drank water and beer so everything Tastes different" I said then took a drink

" geez" said kurlzz

" not the best place in the world" I said pulling my dog tag outa my shirt

" that your tag?" Asked Charlie

" yep I got it on the plane there along with the uniform so what happened here while I was gone?" I said

" did a couple of shows went out, you know the usual" said kurlzz

"It was really weird without you" said Charlie then threw away the box that the wings were in

" well when did you become such a sweetheart" I said

" whatever kiddo so I heard you lost a bet to j" said Charlie

" yeah we were playing a chance card game called war" I said putting my hand through my hair

" I like it baby sis" said kurlzz then messed up my hair

" really I just straightened it curly" I said fixing it

" did you get injured?" Asked Charlie

" I got implied without knowing it" I said

"Where?" Asked kurlzz

" In the middle of my back it went in between 2 spinal columns and it was pushing on my spinal cord i should probably  go to a hospital right now you guys can come if you want I'm um kind nurvous" I said

" I'll go I have the family history" Said kurlzz almost instantly

" ok let's go" I said grabbing my jacket

*at the hospital*

"Sargent alveras" said the doc

"Yes" I said

" so I hear you got an implement in your back and it went un noticed" said the doc

" yep the medical personnel on the ground said that it touched my spinal cord" I said giving him the report

*the doctors faces goes blank and white*

" is their anything wrong?" I asked as the doc called someone

"You need to go into the OR your spinal cord may be damaged you must understand this is a very risky surgery in your heart and lung condition they may fail as soon as we look for any damage we need his consent" said the doc as I grabbed kurlzz hand

" how long will she be under?"asked kurlzz

" anywhere from 1-3 hours if nothing's wrong well keep her for an hour then she can go home and back to normal life" said the doc as kurlzz squeezed my hand

"Did the report say anything about my leg being a little weak?" I said

" no when did this happen?" Asked the doc

" when the medical person stitched me up I got up I walked a step then my left leg just quit then I feel on the floor one of the other troops helped me up then I tried to walk again I was able to walk not very well but I could" I said

" ok their might be temporary damage do I have you consent?" Asked the doc

" yes" said kurlzz then let go of my hand

" ok Sargent alveras follow me" said the doc

" wait Matty go home" I said then hugged him

" ok Me and guys will be here when you wake up" said kurlzz then walked off
