At home on the weekend, Bella and Ven sat down and they were discussing what happened at Prom the other night. Cloud was leaning against the wall listening to everything.

"Adela's okay though, right?" questions Cloud looking at everyone. Bella nods looking at him.

"Ki took care of her," Bella told him. "Compelled her to forget everything that happened." Ki agrees and nods.

Cloud sighs. "Good, we don't need any of our friends knowing about what's going on." Cloud reminded them as they nod.

"Right," agrees Ven looking at Bella. "But we have to have a backup in case he did compel her to remember if Ki's compulsion didn't work."

Bella sighs and nods. "It was bound to happen sooner or later, wasn't it?" Bella asks him, taking a quick glance to Cloud who looks at her and shrugs. Bella slumps her shoulders heavily hoping it didn't happen. "I certainly hope it didn't... I don't need more people getting hurt because of us..." 

Ven touches her hand gently, assuring her that it will be okay. Bella leans her head against his shoulder wondering what they should do if it did.

"If she does remember, then let's pray she doesn't ask." suggests Ki. "I mean, you know, don't bring it up unless she does." 

"That's a great idea." Lea also agrees, and Bella nods.

Later that day, Bella was walking to the store with Lea in tow, Ki and Ven were doing something with Cloud making sure they get everything done. They walk into the store seeing everyone just walking around shopping. Lea looks at Bella.

"What are we doing here again?" questions Lea almost bored.

"You need food in the house." Bella scolded him, stopping to look at him. "Have you not realized that I haven't eaten in a few days, I don't do take out."

Lea shrugs almost annoyed, and Bella chuckles knowing he was joking. Bella grabs his hand and leads him to the carts and grabs one pushing it with her to get the stuff she wanted to get. She then sees a familiar brunett and stops and looks at Adela who is looking at a bottle of shampoo wondering if she should get it. Bella smiles telling Lea she'll be right back. He nods watching her closely hoping this wouldn't end badly.

"Adela!" calls Bella quite happily, Adela blinks and looks over seeing Bella. She smiles and puts down the shampoo, and waves to Bella. "How are you?"

"I'm good, my neck is a little sore, I must've slept on it wrong last night after prom." Adela tells her rubbing her neck. "I felt a little dizzy this morning, didn't know why though."

Bella licks up lips and pursed them lightly, anticipating on what she would say next. "Must've been the way you slept, honestly."

Adela shrugs and looks at her. "I'm not too worried about it then." Adela told her. "Although, I do remember Ki talking to me about forgetting something, but for the life of me, I can't think of what it is..." Bella's heart stopped, but tried to ignore it. She was hoping she would forget, maybe she did. Adela laughs looking at her. "Look at me, trying to remember prom, I think I was drunk off my ass."

Over where Lea was standing, he heard Adela's heart skip a couple beats. Lea looks over at them, she wasn't looking at Bella when she was telling all the stuff about Ki. She was lying. He heard Bella ask her.

"Do you remember what happened?"

Adela stops and thinks about it. "I remember following at guy into the hallway and that was it, the next think I remember, Ki was at my house telling me I had too much to drink."

Thump thump.

Lea heard it again. So, Ki didn't compel her to forget because the other guy compelled her to remember everything even if they tried to erase it. Did she tell anyone else about them?

"Well, I have to get back to shopping, I'll see you at school Monday, Bells." Adela waves to her friend and walks off and quickly rushes around the corner. Bella waves back slowly her smile slowly fading. 

'She knows' Both Bella and Lea thought in unison.

The following day, Ven was watching Bella cook for herself and Cloud. He was leaning against the counter quietly, while she quickly cooks some rice, curry and some vegetable. Bella knows that Ven was watching her, and it made her smile lightly.

"I take it you heard about yesterday?" asks Bella not looking at him as she turns off the stove and brings the food to the island in the middle of the kitchen to cool down. Ven nods and she looks at him. "I don't know what we should do, Ven." Bella states to him. "If she does know, which we're now pretty sure she does and hoping she didn't tell anyone. You, Lea or Ki can't compel her."

"I know, and that's what makes it so frustrating." Ven tells her, walking towards her and she watches him as he hugs her close from the side. Bella leans her head against his shoulder taking in his touch. Bella takes a deep breath and she looks at him. "Shouldn't compulsion fade away if the vampire is dead?"

"Yeah..." Ven silently agrees and looks at her. "IF we can take it away..."

Bella takes another deep breath a little bit and now feels helpless. 

What can they do now...?
