Maybe your not so bad. Maybe. (Sasuke Uchiha) Book 2

             You know how one of the best days of your life can turn into the worst? Well that was mine. It was the day after I became a Chunin. A lot of the other Genin couldn't believe it. Sasuke hadn't made Chunin but Ryoko had? I sighed as I sat down on the bench. It wasn't my fault. I don't even know why they picked me to become a chunin!

I began walking back home and walked inside the door. I looked for Kakashi but I couldn't find him, so I decided to go to the kitchen. On the counter there was a note.

"Ryoko,

I went to meet with Sasuke. I'll be home later."

Hm. I wonder why he went to meet Sasuke. I walked back out and was walking until I saw Sasuke. "Duckbutt where's Kakashi?" He rolled his eyes at my pet name. "He was put in the hospital. I'm going there now. I don't know what for." I looked alarmed. Why was he in the hospital.

I decided to tag along with Sasuke and when we got there we saw Kakashi. I looked at him. He looked horrible.

Then a guy came in and began talking,"Is it true that Itachi Uchiha is back? And he's after Naruto?" That's when Sasuke ran out the door. "Sasuke!" I ran after him. Everywhere he went I followed. We ran into all types of hotels.

I followed him because I knew what Itachi was like. I didn't want Sasuke hurt. We finally found the right one and that's when Sasuke stopped. I almost ran into him. I looked forward and saw the man I despised more than anything.

"Long time no see...Sasuke. Ryoko." Sasuke glares with pure hatred. "Itachi Uchiha." I looked at the blue guy who spoke up next. "Huh.. Sharingan...And he resembles you...Who is he?" "He's my younger brother."

"I heard the entire clan was killed....by you." Sasuke was angrier than ever. "Itachi Uchiha, I will kill you." I noticed that both brother's had their sharingan on. "It's just as you said, I have detested you. I have lived my life. I will kill you!" He runs at Itachi using Chidori. I gasp. When did Kakashi teach him that?!

I noticed a bunch of smoke and the wall was gone. Itachi had just knocked Sasuke's hand away like it was nothing. I notice Naruto start to use his chakra but Kisame's sword eats it. Sasuke said something but I couldn't hear it.

I did hear Itachi though. "Your in the way." With that he breaks Sasuke's hand. I watched as he fell to the floor. Kisame was about to hit Naruto and then Jiraiya appeared.

He began blubbering nonsense about how women fall for him. Naruto and Jiraiya argued back and forth until Sasuke told them to butt out. I sighed as I looked at Sasuke. "Let them help Sasuke." "Stay over there Ryoko." I looked torn on what to do. Would Itachi hurt Sasuke? Of course he would.

I watched as Sasuke tried to punch Itachi with his good hand but Itachi just kicked him back to the wall behind me. I leaned down to check his injuries but he pushed me away. He ran at Itachi again and was thrown back again. This time I caught him. I winced as my back hit the wall. "This is my fight." Itachi narrowed his eyes. "Fine." Itachi began walking back here. I grabbed a kunia and stepped in front of Sasuke. He pushed me to the side. "Ryoko this is my fight." I sighed as I took large steps backward. I wanted to be nowhere near Itachi.

Sasuke jumped up to hit Itachi but he just got hit in the stomach. I watched as Itachi beat Sasuke mercilessly.

I then watched as Itachi used mangekyou on his little brother. I drew the line there. I watched as Sasuke fell and then I ran in without thinking. I threw a punch that he easily dodged. He kicked me in my stomach and slammed my head against the wall. I gripped my hidden kunia and managed to just barely cut him. There was one drop of blood.

I kicked upward towards his chest and he caught it and threw me towards the wall. I let out a small whimper as I felt my head pulsing. I got back up feeling slightly dizzy. I didn't even have enough time to react because he was punching me again. Each blow to my body felt like a kunia stabbing me. Once I felt the blows stop I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

I was in pain and something squishy was forming around me. I wanted to go to sleep. Then I felt a small jolt on my stomach. I let out a scream. When my eye-sight came back I noticed Itachi had just touched the place where my blue mark was.

I heard him mutter to himself. "He did do it then." I felt him use one more jutsu and touch the same mark and I let out another ear-piercing scream. He leaned down and whispered in my ear,"Leader said he will see you soon. He hopes you enjoy the present he gave you." He threw one more blow at me and darkness came.
