Maybe your not so bad. Maybe. (Sasuke Uchiha) Book 2

Chapter 14

         Pein had cuffed my hand again.  They didn't let anything slip past them and it was frustrating.  I looked at my surroundings.  It was a dark place.  This building was big but not too big.  Judging by the liquid on the walls, it's probably rocks.  I looked around for anything that could help me.  I noticed a small rock next to my foot.  I scooted and closer and hid it under my leg. 

     Deidara came down and placed the food in front of me.  Then he uncuffed me left arm and I began to eat slowly.  He sat down and closed his eyes.  My hand slowly reached for the rock.  Once my hand grabbed it, I hid it.  "I'm done."   He got back up and walked over to me.  He picked it up and reached for my arm. 

  I slammed the rock into his forehead with all of my strength.  He dropped the key and I caught it.  I kicked my feet out and he flew back.   I quickly unlocked the other cuff and ran up the long stairway.  I opened the door and ran. 

                                                               *Pein's room*

    I watched as Ryoko ran through each door.  She was good at directions.  She was close to getting out.  Little did she know I wanted to see how far she could get in a short amount of time.  I looked at Itachi.  "Let her get to the forest and then start your hunt.  I want to know the results as soon as possible."  He nodded and disappeared.  I smirked as I sat down and began working on something else.  Ryoko you were defiantly a good choice. 

  My door opened and I looked up.  "Ahh Akira."  She glared softly at me.  "How's my daughter doing?"   "Well, I'm impressed."  I felt her glare grow colder as she stared me down.  "I want out of this deal!"  In a matter of seconds I had her pinned against the door.  "You made this deal.  You will follow through.  I let your husband have a few more years of life, like you asked.  Now it's your turn to keep your end of the bargin."

     She looked down and nodded her head.  I smirked as I let her go and whispered,"Get out."  She turned quickly and walked out of the room.  She had no idea the plans I had for her and Ryoko.

                                             *Akira(Ryoko's mom)  P.O.V.*

                I practically ran back to my room as I felt my anger rising.  Anger at Pein.  Anger at myself.  The bet I made was ignorant.

                                          *Flashback*

               I smiled happily at my beautiful baby girl.  Then I smiled up at my husband.  He  was a proud father.  "What do you want to name her Akira?"  "Ryoko."  He smiled at my choice and her name was set.

    Later on that night I was woken up.  My husband had left.  I noticed a man and he looked at me.  "I'm here for the baby."  "No!"  I went to attack him and I tried to scream but he was behind me.  "Shut up.  If you scream I'll kill the girl and your husband."  I nodded my head and he let got.  "Please!  I just want more time with my baby and husband!  More time and I'll do anything!"  He looked at me and pursued his lips.  "I'll give you a couple of years.  But as soon as I come back, I expect the girl, and I want you to stay with my group.  You will own me 2 years of service."  I nodded my head.  "Anything."  He glared and disappeared into the night.  I made a vow that night.

                     I would protect my baby girl,no matter what.

                              *End flashback.*

                                            *Ryoko's P.O.V.*

         I ran and ran through the thick trees.  I was getting closer.  I could see the light and I was almost out of this forest.  I pushed myself faster and ran into something hard.  I felt myself fall back and then arms around my waist.  I looked up to see.................

                                              Sasuke.

  I wrenched myself out of his girp and stepped back.  I looked around slowly.  Orchimaru.  Kabuto.  Sasuke and a dude I had no clue of who he was.  I felt my heart clench at the sight of him.  He was exactly how I remembered him.  Exactly how  I wanted him to be. 

      "Ryoko, how did you escape?"  "That's none of your business.  Get away form me!"  I reached for a weapon and realized I had none.  I was useless.  My strength was almost gone.  My chakra had not restored itself yet and I had no weapon. 

          "Ryoko!"

  I turned just in time to see  Kakashi and his team.   I turned around and also found..... Itachi.
