Chapter 16

      I shot up and he held his hand to my mouth.  "Relax Ryoko.  It's me.  Come one."  "Hod did you get in?"  "They should really learn to tell the difference between their members and fake members.  It was quite easy to get in actually."  I smiled at him and he helped me up.  "Come on."  I nodded my head and we opened the door.  He disguised himself as some guy I didn't know.  Then he did the same to me.  I looked down at myself and glared at him.   "Am I a boy or a girl?"  He cracked a smile as he looked at me,"I honestly have no idea.  I saw her when I came in."  "That's just wonderful."

   I glared at him as we casually walked out.  We began walking down long corridors.  We were almost out until I heard a voice.  "What are you doing back?"  Sasuke.  I didn't say a thing as Kakashi and I both turned around.  Of course dad was always on his toes ready to say something.   "We forgot something.  We came back to get it.  Were on our way out now."  He nodded at Kakashi and then looked at me.  "Why did you come back with him?"  "I-I thought it would be helpful if I came with him."   "You don't like him."  I just shrugged my shoulders.  "Well if you don't mind, we have to go."  "He can go but you can't...Ryoko."

    I looked at him bewildered.  "I'm not Ryoko.  I don't even know who that is!"  "Give it up Ryoko.  The girl your pretending to be is in love with me.  No one acts that hostile towards me except you."  I glared as I took down my disguise.  Kakashi did the same.  "Ryoko forget about him, lets go."  "I want to win this fight."  "Ryoko.  You will have plenty of times to win this fight.  Right now, you don't."  I contemplated in my  mind what I could do.  Leaving could mean that I wouldn't win.  Do you want to leave?

   I gasped as I heard Sasuke's voice in my head.  Leave me alone!  Get out of my head!  Ryoko, you love me.  You showed me that much earlier.  Do you really want to leave me?  

  I felt my mind closing in.  Did I want that?  Could I leave?  Yes.  Did I want to? ...No...    I wanted a life with Sasuke.  I wanted him...but...I turned to look at my dad.  He helped me through everything.  He wanted to make sure I had a good life.   I couldn't betray him.   I have to go with him.  You left Sasuke.  Now I am.

Your mistake was thinking you could leave.  They can't protect you and if I have to worry about you all the time I can't accomplish my goal.

  I gripped my kunia as he flew at me.  We hit and I was thrown back a little bit.  He had gotten a lot stronger.  In just a matter of weeks.  That could be you.  Pein?  How are you in my head?  Just come Ryoko.  You want that power don't you? 

   I shook my head clear of those thoughts as I began to focus on Sasuke.  Kakashi was fighting Kabuto.  When the heck did he get there?  "Pay attention Ryoko."  I felt him grab my arms and twist it behind my back.  I let out a cry of pain as my wrist felt like it was being broken in half.  I tried to push back and get him off but he pulled tighter.  My legs gave out but he didn't let go.  "This is your pain limit Ryoko.  Just give up."  "Sasuke...you have no idea how much pain I can take."  I twisted and slammed my feet into his chest.  My wrist broke and I yelped as it began to immediately throb.

   Sasuke got up and glared at me.  "And how do you expect to fight me now?"  I looked at Kakashi and we both nodded.  We began running to the exit.  Sasuke was gaining on us but I began to run faster.  Come on Ryoko.  I slid out and Kakashi and I began to run faster. 

   We ran for a good 20 minutes.  "We have to split up dad."  He shook his head.  "Dad we have to!  If we don't they'll catch us faster!"  After a little bit of convincing he agreed.  (Well a lot of convincing.)  "Meet me at those trees in half an hour."  I nodded and was off.  The trees were a blur as I began to move. 

   A couple of minutes later I stopped to catch a quick breath.  I leaned against a tree and looked around.  I about screamed as Sasuke was right below me.  I covered my mouth and tried to control my breathing.  He looked up buthe didn't see me.  Then he walked away to another part of the trees.

   I waited a couple of minutes and then jumped down.  I watched the same spot as I began walking backwards.  I turned and then I felt Sasuke push me against the tree and cover my mouth.  "Shh."  I bit his hand and slammed my good hand into his stomach.  I went to run around him but he grabbed my bad wrist and I let out a growl.  He slammed me against the tree and I felt my head hit hard.  "Ryoko stop fighting me.  I don't want to hurt you."  I felt dizzy as I gripped my head.  "I-I-I feel dizzy.  W-What's wrong with me?"  I began to sway but his arms wrapped around my waist.  "Come on."  He leaned down to pick me up and I slammed my knee into his chest.  I began to run as I saw him quickly recover. 

   I turned to look where he was and slammed into someone hard.  I looked up to see Itachi and Kisame.  I crawled backwards and then I saw Sasuke.  He glared as he saw his brother.  "Ryoko come here."  Itachi glared at his little brother.  "Kisame, the girl." 

  Kisame gripped his sword as I got up.  I gripped my kunia and threw it at him.  Then I began to run again.  There was only a little ways until the tree.  I jumped from tree to tree until I felt something catch my leg.  I whimpered as I slightly twisted it and fell off the branch.  I hit the ground but luckily it wasn't a long way down. 

  I put my hands over my ankle and healed it.  Then I felt someone grab me and I felt a hard hit to the neck.  I felt the person pick me up and carry me.  My eyes slowly began to close as I drifted off.

                    When I opened my eyes I sat up slowly.  I winced and rubbed the back of my neck.  Itachi came in and pulled a chair out.  He slowly sat down and looked me straight in the eye.  "Your training begins today.  You have half an hour to get ready.  This training will go on until Pein says stop.  You will be on time.  Your clothes are on your bed."  With that said he slowly walked out.

      I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower.  Once done I slipped my clothes on and pratically ran to meet up with Itachi.  As I opened the door I ran to the middle and sighed as I realized he wasn't here.  Then I felt him jumped down and his foot connected with my stomach.  "Be aware all of the time."  I winced as I slowly got up and his training began.

          Once we were done my entire body ached and I could barely stand.  "Tomorrow.  6."  I looked up at him.  "That's entirely too early!"  He gripped my shirt and slammed me against the wall.  "Don't question me."  I nodded my head and he dropped me.  As soon as he left I sighed.  I hated it here and I wanted to leave.  Hopefully, I would.
