CHAPTER ELEVEN
The Wedding
June 18, 2011. Saturday. Rizzi Cruz along with creative team was in charge of her bridal look. Her gown was a fusion of luxury, intricacy and style. She looked every inch a princess. On her head holding on to her sheer veil was a white gold tiara of shimmering diamonds which was more like of an expensive hair band with diamonds. Her hair was just allowed to fall freely but its natural waves had been enhanced to beautiful locks. Her wedding gown had a strapless intricately embroidered bodice which intensified the beauty of her décolletage frosted with a single white gold twine with multiple diamonds just like the tiara. The bodice revealed her slim waist perfectly as the sewn full skirt was in just a right amount of volume fall perfectly down her body. Her wedding trail was along one. She also wore stud diamond earrings matching the tiara and the necklace in design and diamond cut. And on her left ring finger was the blue diamond engagement ring. She didn’t wear anymore pieces. Her bridal shoes was a white peap-toe high pumps with small crystals detail. Rizzi opted for her face to have its natural look. Light make up on her beautiful face enough to cover her not so obvious freckles had just been applied as well as a natural rose lip color just to enhance her naturally red lips.
When she descended upon the grand staircase of Gonzalo Mansion everyone was in awe upon seeing her.
Her father couldn’t help but shed tears from so much joy.
“Dad, don’t cry,” she smiled and then approached her father to hug her.
“You look very beautiful, my princess. Just like your Mom,” her father voiced out
Her stepmother was also crying.
“Mom, don’t cry. You’re make up would be ruined.”
Her stepmother smiled and gently dabbed her tears with her hankie, “You’re just so divine, darling.”
She rode a top down vintage car of Carlos’ cars collection. The Quisia Cathedral was just fifty meters away from Gonzalo Mansion. It was a six o’ clock anymore so they didn’t have to worry of sunrays. Her parents rode in a separate car just in front of the bridal car.
The wedding march started. Olivia with a male choir member in a duet sang her rendition of “Ikaw” popularized by Ariel Rivera and Sharon Cuneta.
