"Where do they have you?" Kellin whispered down the line. His voice was shaky as he spoke, teetering the edge of panic and full blown devastation. He stood on weary legs in the living room, the silence felt suffocating and everything was eerily calm, too calm.

Vic took in a deep breath, he hadn't fully had time to contact his lawyer, the only thing, or person, on his mind at that moment was Kellin. He needed to explain himself. And he felt he didn't have enough time to do so, but he'd try to.

"They have me at the station. Later they're going to gun me down with questions." Vic breathed. He wanted to tell Kellin everything so badly, but he couldn't. Not yet, at least. Everything had been happening so quickly he himself hadn't had time to register what had happened.

"Vic, what am I suppose to do? I don't know what's going on and I-I can't handle this." Kellin spoke softly. Vic could hear his voice waver, it didn't take him long to note that Kellin held the receiver away from him as he let out a sob every now and then. His breathing was heavy and his hands shook as his hair stuck to his cheeks by the salty tears.

With every shaky intake of breath Kellin made, Vic could feel his heart breaking. Now, more than ever, he just wanted to hold Kellin in his arms and whisper to him that things would be okay, but he couldn't, and he hated that. He wished things could've been differently, where he didn't have a stalker or where he wasn't well known. He just wanted a normal life. And he wanted a normal life with Kellin.

"Kellin, baby, just listen to the sound of my voice, okay?" Vic told him, his voice smooth and low. He heard Kellin take deep, stuttering breaths, whispering back an 'okay'.

"What do I need to do?" He asked Vic.

"I need you to go down to my office, do not speak to anybody on your way there, and most importantly do not go with anybody unless it's Mike or Lynn or Tony." He told Kellin. Kellin nodded his head, "Yeah, okay. Then what?" His brows were furrowed as he struggled to wipe away any renaming tears.

"Call Mike. Tell him what happened, he'll understand. Look for the restraining order on-" Vic was cut off by the sound of voices in the background. He turned to the guard with an annoyed look.

"Aye! You got one minute on there, hurry up!" The guard shouted to him, not caring whether he was interrupting.

"Kells, I have to go now, baby. But do everything as I said, trust me." Vic rushed to get out. He almost wanted to tell Kellin everything right there. He wanted to explain what was going on with him and why he had been the way he was. But the time was so short and it was ticking away.

"Okay, I will. And Vic?" Kellin said right before he was going to hang up.

"Yeah?" The silence that passed between the two felt like hours but was really only seconds, until Vic heard the feathery voice of Kellin.

"Be careful, for me?"

"Yeah."

Kellin rushed to get to the company. He probably looked a mess, he felt like one. His hair was strewn across his face and he limped awkwardly while walking. He should've stayed to get checked out by the paramedics, but of course, Kellin didn't. Getting checked out by paramedics was the last thing on his mind as he walked up to the glass doors of the building.

After unlocking the door and slipping the keys back in his pocket, he stepped forward. He reached out one trembling hand and gripped the handle, eyes darting nervously everywhere. He checked his dark surroundings, paranoid for anyone watching or trying to hurt him. With a shaky breath, he swiftly opened the door and stepped inside. The air was cool and quiet, and now more than ever he wished it would be morning so he wouldn't have to struggle with the quietness.
