Temporary Bliss

*welp here's another chapter cx hope you like it c; cause I didn't put much into it. so I apologize in advance if it's shit. alright here we go cx *

"Soooo, Christopher, do you like the school so far " Oli said leaning against the gym wall with a grin. I nodded and smiled.

Oliver had showed me the whole school before lunch time. The school property alone was amazing.I loved the design, even if I didnt know what it was.

So far, today was the best day of my life. Im able to go to school without seeing Roland and Lacey, and I made a couple of new friends. It's unbelievable. I was incredibly nervous and shy at first, but Oli and the others are my friend. Friends are always nice. Another big smile spreaded across my face. My cheeks are gonna hurt by the end of the day. I looked at the beautiful boy next to me. He saw my smile and chuckled.

"The school isn't that great for you to be smiling like that" Oli said grinning. I blushed and looked down at my shoes. He laughed again and playfully nudged me. I looked up and saw him pointing in front of me. I turned and saw Austin jogging over with a big smile on his face.

"Christopher!!!! " Austin yelled, now running to me. My eyes widened as he tackled me into a hug. I laughed nervously and hesitantly hugged him back. I dont like sudden contact. I always get fidgety.

He let go of me immediately and hid behind me. Confused, I looked at Oliver but he just shrugged with a knowing smile on his face. Then I heard fast footsteps run towards us. I heard Austin muffle his laugh with his hand behind me. I stood there confused outta my mind as I saw a breathless angry Cameron appear a few feet away from me, with a frown on his face.

"C-Cameron? " I said slowly walking towards him. Is he ok? He looked really angry, his hair was sticking up while some fell over his bruised eye. Cameron looked at me and his face immediatly softened. He smiled and laughed nervously.

"It's nothing, Chris. I'm just looking for the idiot bastard. " Cameron said with a smile. I stared at him and giggled. So that's why Austin hid behind me. Oh Austin you're in deep shit.

I felt Austin's body behind me press closer to mine, causing me to jump a little. Cameron figured out why I jumped and slowly walked to me. I smiled and stepped aside, letting a poor defenseless Austin in the open. Austin gawked at me as Cameron grabbed him by his colar nonchalantly. Austin flinched and raised his hands in defense.

"W-woah what are you gonna do to him? "I said raising an eyebrow, now a bit alarmed. Cameron stared at me, Oli then stopped on Austin. He sighed and let him drop to the floor with a thud.

"I... uh... nothing. " Cameron mumbled, rubbing the nape of his neck. A blush grew across his face. Austin laughed and poked his tummy.

"Awwww, well will ya look at that. He has a major soft spot for his brother" Austin said poking Cameron's stomach. I giggled as his face turned even darker.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, Rizon. " Cameron said looking away. Everyone laughed as the shade of red on Cameron's cheeks got darker, if possible. Cameron cleared his throat.

"Oh Yeah, Oliver, someone was calling us. I think it was something about school... dunno. anyway, Rizon you stay here with my brother, while me and Oli go with Ms. V. See ya later Christopher! " Cameron said motioning Oli to follow him. He nodded and they both waved goodbye, leaving Austin and I alone.

"Hows your first day, bro? " Austin said with wide curious eyes. I giggled and shrugged. Act normal.

"I-Its awe-okay.. " I said trying to hide my smile. Will he make fun of me for liking school a little too much? Austin laughed and sat on the brown tiled floor.

"I'll take that as awesome. Haha. Don't be shy, man. We're friends now!" Austin said with a perfect smile. Man, is everyone here perfect? I don't think I can fit in... I smiled back at him and nodded.

"Oh. Some tips. The girls here " he said making a splatter noise while dragging his thumb along his neck, " are terrible. They're superficial. You're a huge looker so be careful." I blushed at his words and looked down.

"A-are all the girls bad? " I said curiously. He smiled and laughed.

"No. The majority is though. And watch out for the seniors this year, they're attention hungry chodes. If you don't listen to them they'll hurt you. " Austin said with a pissed tone. I gulped. Hopefully I will never meet the Seniors. I patted his shoulder and gave him a small smile.

"Don't go c-crazy over it. D-Did they do something to you? " I asked hesitantly. Austin looked the other way harshly and said nothing.

"I-Im sorry! I d-didnt mean to get you mad. Ahh don't tell me I already lost a friend. Gah Why am I so stupid. Austin I'm sorry. are you okay? " I said as fast as I could. Austin stared at me with wide eyes. I awkwardly stared back. With a 'pfft ' Austin burst out laughing.

"Man, you talk fast. " Austin scoffed playfully. " But no I'm not mad I was just thinking about things. and no you didn't lose a friend I'm still here. " Austin said with a smile. Automatically, I did the same. However, the smile and color left Austin's face as he glanced down the hallway.

"Speak of the Devil."
