My eyes grew wide. I quietly gasped. I didn't realize my fists were tightly holding on to the fabric of my pants. Oliver's confused eyes stared back at me ; head slightly tilted to the side. Students around us quickly gathered their things, making a huge, distracting noise. Laughter and complaints toward the teacher about homework soon chimed in as well. Worst of all, the desk scraping against the ground. My head began to pound from all of the drama in this class period, and the noise wasn't helping either. My head felt a little dizzy.
"I couldn't hear you. What did you say?" Oliver innocently asked. I laughed bitterly and waved my hand in dismissal. To be honest, I was jealous of him. He seemed to be perfect. Carefree. No problems. Nada. Nein. I want to be like that one day. But for a guy like me, is that even possible?
"Helloooo?" Oliver said, snapping his fingers in front of my face. I gently pushed his hand away from my face and gave him a questioning look. His bookbag was slinged over his shoulder.
"Unless you want to stay in school, you should come with me. " He said with a chuckle. I facepalmed and quickly got up. I ran straight to the door. I needed to see Cameron. I couldn't be alone any longer.
I pulled the door open and ran straight; however, I was stopped by something. Well someone. I rubbed my aching nose and looked up. It was Austin. He had a huge intimidating grin.
"Heeey there.....looovers~" he gushed. He playfully smacked my shoulder which felt like a real shove to me. I stumbled back and raised an eyebrow. Oli caught up and stood beside me. Cameron walked from behind him and glared at Austin. He stretched his arms out to me with a smile. I returned a bigger smile and ran into his arms. When I felt his warm embrace, I felt my whole body and mind relax.
I felt Austin's eyes burn the back of my skull. Arms still wrapped around Camerom, I looked at him with an eyebrow raised. He said something about lovers. But I shouldn't care, it doesn't apply to me.
"Tsk tsk tsk. Never imagined you'd be the player, Chris."Austin said shaking his head in false disappointment. I frowned.
"What are you talking about?" Oliver said stepping closer to Austin. He casually pushed Austin's shoulder. Is this normal now adays?
"A little birdy told us that they saw Christopher and you doing something school inappropriate in the back~" Cameron said through an amused grin. He turned me around and hugged me from behind. He faked a snor in my ear and put all his weight on me. I laughed and struggled to keep both of us up while Oliver freaked out.
"What do you mean inappropriate things! We weren't doing anything! We were just normal kids in class!" Oli's words quickly, and nervously, sputtered out which made Austin and Cameron give him suspicious looks.
"What on earth are you doing to my brother, Oliver?" Cameron said in a teasing manner. Oliver blushed and waved his hands around in the air frantically. I hid my face in Cameron's chest.
"Okay. Let's all go home." Austin announced with a yawn. The hold I had on Cameron grew tighter. Home home?

I felt my happy mood plummet down when we entered our "humble" abode. Cameron's mother, as per usual, sat on the couch with a cigarette laying gingerly in her hand. Despite her mood and facial expression, she was dressed nicely. A black pencil skirt that stopped above her knees; A frilly red blouse was tucked in ; shoes kicked off; black cardigan lazily opened. She wasn't the only thing that looked out of place. The whole living room was clean and neat and smelling wonderfully as well.
"What the hell happened here?" Cameron said standing in the middle of the room, mouth agape. He took one look at his mother and his face contorted into pure shock and confusion. I choked back a laugh.
"What's wrong with you? You... got Jesus or something?" He said placing his heavy bookbag down on the wooden floor. I kept my distance and my mouth shut.
"Oh, you're so funny, baby." His mother said with a teenage giggle. Our eyes met and she just stared at me. Her face turned blank and her eyes locked on mine. A shiver ran down my spine.
"H-Hey.... Chris. My boy." She said with a smile. I felt my bookbag slide out of my hand and fall hard on the floor. I felt Cameron's eyes on me. My heart skipped a beat.
"Why are you scared? Come here and give me a kiss!" She bubbled. She immediately looked 20 years younger and pretty without all the anger wrinkles in her face. Her hands motioned me to come closer.
My legs felt like lead. I shuffled over to her. I was a couple of inches away. I.... I can't do it. My heart pulsed quicker and my head felt dizzy. I felt her soft hand gently grab my hand. Our eyes met and she smiled. She pulled my hand down. Consequently, I jerked forward. She turned her face and waited. Slowly, I leaned closer to her face. I smelled her sweet perfume, but I couldn't smell alcohol or anything funny. I pecked her cheek
and immediately drew back. I rushed back over to Cameron.
"Now go and do your homework, boys. " She said in a cheerful tone. Her attention was now back at the T.V. I was frozen in place, just staring at her. Who is this woman in front of me?
