6.Lady In the Lake

Tomoe blinked as he looked up at the large shrine like house, his eyes were wide and he huffed, Why was every shrine way better this his own fathers? He held his arm in pain, it was numb and it tingled in the shoulder. He ground his fangs in pain as Silver stood up and dusted himself off, He looked at Tomoe and rolled his eyes as he started to walk forward,
"Come on fool" He muttered darkly. He was still ticked off that this idiot had to follow him here! He was fine with what he was doing, but apparently Tomoe was stupid enough to think that he was suicidal. He huffed as he walked towards the shrine and gently rang to bell by the door.
Of course he didn't need to do so as the door opened within seconds, a woman with azure long hair that reached to her lower calves. She arched her brow as she took in their appearance.
"Back Again I see?" her azure blue eyes twinkled in amusement as she looked at them while she folded her arms, he sighed out as he walked inside first.
"You can thank him for that" Silver muttered dryly as he pointed behind him using his thumb and glared at Tomoe, who was shocked by how formal Silver was being with a woman that looked like a goddess. He held his arm and walked in after Silver.
He was taken back by how many turns they had to take in such a modest sized house, by the time they got to the main room they were immediately greeted by a large cherry blossom tree that stood in the middle. Its leaves and branches seemed to rustle softly in the soft wind creating a serene and calm effect, Tomoe watched Silver walk forward and hop up into the branches without a care in the world. Almost acting like he had done this a lot to the white haired kitsune's surprise.
The teen huffed slightly and looked at the woman before doing a bow, like he had been taught to do since he had become a familiar. The only rolled her eyes and waved her hand at the gesture signaling that it was not necessary.
"Oh Tomoe" She chuckled slightly "do stop bowing to me. If I didn't see you worthy enough, you wouldn't even be allowed inside my home" Serena huffed lightly as she smiled at him. Tomoe immediately blinked in shock from what he had heard before looking up the moment he heard Silver chortle slightly. He glared at the tree almost on the verge of burning it just to see what that cheeky kitsune would do, knowing that it would wipe the smirk off of his face. Serena sighed as she looked at them before shaking her head-teenage boys.
"My name is Serena " She smiled softly and then to his shock looked at his arm and shook her head, " You should of stayed where you were" Her lips pursed knowing that it was a band injury.
"You do know that you would not be hurt if you had." She sighed as she looked at him blankly and Tomoe blinked in shock. What was with this woman and how did she know all of this? He looked at her with bewildered violet eyes before she chuckled.
