Sorry it's been awhile since I've updated. If you forgot what happened just skim through the last chapter!
Crystals P.O.V
"You guys know each other?" Calum asks.
"Sadly." I say loud enough for them to hear.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Luke seemed furious. He has no reason too be. "Umm kissing a boy what's it to you?" Why the hell is he sooo interested in my life?
"Mate chill we were jus-" Luke shoves him against the wall before he could finish.
"Luke what the fuck? Get off him." I say getting between him and Calum.
"Lukey what's going on?" Jessica comes stumbling over to us.
Luke let's go of Calum and wraps his arm around Jessica's waist. "Nothing just messing around a bit." Luke puts on a smile and kisses Jessica.
"Ew, what's she doing here?" She's looks at me up and down.
"Like I know." Luke looks at the floor.
"Did you like the little note? Luke helped me with it. Huh babe?" Lukes head shot up and his eyes met mine. I could feel my heart break into a million pieces. The tears that I've been holding back for days start to form.
"What note?" Calum asks looking at me then Luke.
"N-nothing. I gotta go..." I start to walk away before Calum grabs my hand. "Atleast take my number." He gives me a sympathetic smile. I return one and take the paper.
"Bye loser." Jessica giggles.
"Fuck off." I shove past her making her fall to the ground.
She shrieks and I can hear her yelling at Luke for not doing anything.
I unlock my house and quietly walk in. I didn't realize how late it was. Everyone was asleep and all the lights were off. I run upstairs and close my door. As soon as I see my bed I slam my body onto it. The clock showed 11:47. Sighing I get up and get into my pajamas.
Tonight replays over and over in my head.
"Did you like the note? Luke helped me with it. Huh babe?"
The tears were coming and I couldn't stop them from falling.
Lukes P.O.V
After Crystal left Jessica was talking my ear off. Complaining because I didn't help her when Crystal shoved her down.
I walk away and grab a bottle of vodka. With every gulp my feelings waste away. Calum walks up to me and grabs the bottle. "So mate, what the fuck was that back there?" He asks taking a sip. I roll my eyes "Nothing."
"Oh trust me it wasn't nothing. You turned into incredible fucking hulk back there."
"Why'd you kiss her?"
The real question is why'd she kiss him.
"Well first off she's gorgeous, she's sweet and funny. Have you seen those lips? For never kissing anyone she's a great kisser."
Something was coursing through me. Fury? Jealousy..?
"Wait. So you were her first kiss?"
"Proud to be." He had a big smile on his face I just wanted to wipe it off.
I grit my teeth and close my eyes.
"Nice." I let out in one big breath. "I don't really know what happened. Nothing personal I was just a little angry at something that happened earlier and I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I'm sorry." I lied straight through my teeth.
"No worries. I'm just glad you don't have feelings for her." He chuckles.
"You don't right?" He looks at me.
"No god no. I don't like her in the slightest." I force a laugh.
The rest of the night went on with the same shit. Drinking, kissing, dancing. It was 2 am when I climbed through my window. I was so wasted I knew I was going to have a hangover tomorrow.
Without changing, my head hits the pillow and I'm out.
I wake up with no hangover surprisingly. I get ready for school and head out the door not seeing Paul once. I don't need his shit.
Jessica and Ashton waited for me by my locker.
"What's up?" I ask putting in my combo.
"What's up? Just wondering what the hell happened last night." Ashton snaps.
"What do you mean?"
"You got so worked up because Calum and that slut Crystal were making out."
"Shes not a slut." I mumble the words not loud enough for them to hear.
"Hellllooo." Ashton was waving his hand in front of my face causing me to look at him.
"It was nothing. It wasn't about that...I. I was just in a bad mood." I've been trying to convince myself that all day.
Jessica smiled and hugged me.
"It's okay babe." Then left me a nice kiss.
Ashton stood there glaring at me.
"We need to do something to that Crystal chick."
Ashton said closing my locker door.
"Why? She already gets enough from Jessica."
"Do you like her?"
Ashton stares at me waiting for a reply.
"What? Ew. God no." I laughed.
"Prove it." With that he walked off.
I sigh and head to class.
What the hell do I do to prove it? Then it clicks.
Crystals P.O.V
It's been a week since the party. Nothing major has happened. Calum and I have been texting a lot more, he's really sweet. Right now I'm in my room on a Saturday doing my late homework. I was home alone which I'm thankful for cause that means I can blast my music. I lay on my bed singing along to some Beatles
As soon as the song ended I heard the doorbell ring. My mom must've lost her keys again. I turn down my music and head downstairs. As I open the door I wasn't satisfied with who I saw.
"What do you want?" I say looking at Luke. His hands were in his pockets and he was rocking back and forth. "I uh- I wanna talk. Can I come in?" He stays staring at the floor. I debate on it for a bit before letting him in. I close my bedroom door and sit on my bed. "Well...?" I say after 5 minutes of silence. Him just being in the same space as me irritates me. "I'm sorry." He looks me in the eyes. I scoff and roll my eyes.
"Yeah okay."
"No really. I'm sorry for everything I've done to you. You didn't deserve any of that. I don't know why I even began to hurt you. You're important to me Crystal and I want you to know that I'm truly sorry for all the pain I've caused you." His eyes showed sorrow but I didn't know if I should believe him. "You broke me Luke. First you were the reason I loved school. Now...now you're the reason I dread it. I'm terrified of going because of you and your gang. I don't know what I did to make you feel the need to hurt me. Please. Please inform me what made you do it? Cause I've been questioning this everyday." The tears had already started falling.
"I don't know Crystal. I'm sorry. I'm a jerk. I'm an asshole and I don't like being that way. I hate myself for what I've been doing. Please forgive me. I miss you Crystal." He was kneeling down in front of me with tears in his eyes. Was he actually crying or was this all an act. He looked genuinely sorry. I stare at him for awhile thinking. "Okay. I believe you. But I can't just instantly trust you again. You have to gain it back."
"Thank you. I understand and I'll try." He smiles and hugs me tight. "Where's your mom?" He asks pulling away. "She's gone for the night with her boyfriend." I shrug.
"Oh..wanna play a board game?"
"Sure." I stand up and grab the most popular board game out there. Monopoly.
After an hour the board was upside down and money was flying everywhere. "You totally cheated!" I laugh chucking hundreds at him. "Just because I bought more places than you doesn't mean I cheated. Just means I know what I'm doing." He laughs even more.
"Whatever." I chuckle catching my breath. Luke sighs and lays on his back. I do the same and close my eyes. A minute later I felt a body hovering over me. I open to see Luke's face inches from mine. He stares into my eyes bringing his face closer. His lips brush against mine. My breath hitches and goosebumps travel my body. I thought he was going to kiss me.
That was until his hands begin to grip my sides. I laugh loudly and turn over. I could hear him laughing while he was tickling me. "Luke. Stop. Please." I say between laughs. "Never!" He then starts to tickle my legs. "Luke!" I couldn't breathe. I finally shove him off and climb on him starting to tickle him. "Oh my god Crystal no!" He curls in a ball trying not to laugh. Which he failed at.
He then grabs both my arms and pulls me close to him. Once again our lips were an inch away. "Do it." He whispers. I look from his eyes to his lips. Hesitation consumed me. Before I could make the decision he placed his lips on mine. They were so soft. It was perfect. We lay there for a few minutes kissing until I hear a knock on my door.
I pull away and smile. "Hold on." I look at Luke's face which had an expression I couldn't read. Confusion? Fear? As I stand up he jumps on his feet. I give him a confused look but headed downstairs. Before I open the door I turn to see Luke standing at the top of the steps. His face showed sorrow which confused me even more. I shrug it off and open the door. I see Ashton and Jessica. "What are you guys doin-" before I could answer Ashton grabbed me and placed a bag over my head. I tried to scream but I was too scared. What's happening..?
