She stared wide eyed at her best friend standing before her. In her house! Her best friend she left without saying goodbye! The man who admitted he loved her and then saved her life!

She tensed up on the spot and just stared

Fitz clicked his fingers in front of her almost memorized face "hello? Earth to simmons?"

She quickly snapped out of her thoughtful trance and hurriedly looked up him

"Oh my gosh sorry" she said quickly in a panic. Her heart was racing faster than it ever had before.

"About time we had a reunion" fitz said with a small chuckle to himself. When he realized jemma wasn't laughing, his smile immediately faded into a serious expression

"W...what....a...are you doing here?" Jemma asked as her voice stammered with nerves building in her fragile system.

"Oh ...actually. ...I came for a break. But I have to be careful. Hydra wants to capture me so I need to be safe. They want me as a resource but I'm never going to work for them" he said with a small sigh and then turned his attention to Jemma again

She was looking for words to say but she couldn't find any that sounded right. Especially to fitz.

With nothing to say she threw her arms almost immediately around his without second thoughts or any hesitation whatsoever.

Fitz was almost taken aback by the hug but was also relieved to be reunited with her so he hugged her back tightly

"Oh my gosh leo ....I'm so sorry for leaving" she said sobbing slightly

"Hey...you know I'll always forgive you jemma" Fitz reassured her

And for the first time jemma felt one feeling..

Whitehall skimmed quickly through all the files about shield that agent 33 could provide him. He was particularly interested in Leo Fitz. One of shields top engineers. He smirked slightly as he pulled out an article with a picture of Fitz and Simmons together at the academy giving a lecture. Whitehall knew that the girl in the picture was obviously important to Agent Fitz. Considering the article mentioned words like 'inseperable' and 'together' he figured they meant a lot to each other. Of course he saw this as an opportunity to use agent Fitz as an asset.

"Mr bakshi" he said to the man on his left "locate this girl and bring her to me" Whitehall ordered

Bakshi nodded and set his men to work to search for the brunette in the picture.

Whitehall was certain his plan would work.
