Jemma led Fitz into the main room of her small apartment. He'd changed since his injury. He was taller and dare she say handsome.
She thought back to when they where stuck at the bottom of the ocean and he said he loved her before giving her the only breath of oxygen.
"So....."
Fitzs voice snapped her out of her daze
"How've you been Jemma? You know after you left?"
"Well...I've got a job at the local hospital here.....but my job is nothing without you" she admitted and blushed bright red
Fitz smiled
"Same....back at shield, I still think of you a lot. I missed you Simmons"
She suddenly felt a jolt of guilt run through her body like static electricity.
"I missed you too Leo" she never called him Leo often but it didn't matter. As long as he was there next to her.
"Jemma....just....as I said before....be careful....." He said almost begging.
She furrowed her eyebrows "it's that bad?"
"Yeah, I'm hydras number 1 targeted asset. And I don't know what I'd do if they found out about you..."
"Oh fitz.....what's the worst that could....."
"You could get kidnapped! Or worse killed!" He shouted.
She jumped slightly but could understand his frustration
"Fitz....please....don't worry about me..."
"I can't help it Jemma....if they find out about you....they'll want you more than they want me" he said going over to sit next to her.
She looked up into his eyes and he stared back
"Leo....."
"Jemma"
They both leant forward but Fitz stopped before their lips could meet
"I'm sorry....i need to go" he quickly said and sat up. He picked up his bag and headed out the door
"Fitz wait!" Jemma called after him but he was gone
She was so close to kissing Leo Fitz

Bakshi came back into whitehalls office
"Sir, we have the girls location" he said handing Whitehall the file he'd requested earlier "she's in Sheffield at the moment and has a job at the local hospital"
Whitehall nodded and took the file from his agent
"What are you planning on doing with her sir?" Bakshi questioned
"Well....she obviously means a lot to our most targeted shield agent, Leo Fitz. So, we use her as leverage to make him co-operate" Whitehall explained with a smirk
Bakshi smiled at his boss
"I want you to go with a tac team and capture agent Simmons"
Bakshi looked confused "so....she used to be a shield agent then?"
Whitehall nodded "until she left because agent Fitz got brain damage and hypoxia. He's much better now and he can work though"
Bakshi nodded as he packed some handcuffs, duct tape into one of the bag "I'll go with a team of agents to get her for you. And agent Fitz?"
Whitehall smirked
"Let me handle him"
