"Okay." I said and clapped my hands together.

"What?" Lena asked getting two apple juices from the fridge.

"Thank you. Who's getting the food?" I asked as she passed me a juice.

"Well. Why don't we go to the store right now and I'll drop you off at Walmart and I'll go to trader joes and we'll get food for each other and come back and shoot." She explained.

"Okay sounds good. But where's your mom and dad?" I asked.

"Oh my dad will be on a business trip until Thursday and my mom gets home at 9-11 tonight." She said.

"Okay. Well. You can come over my house for dinner. Whenever you want." I said. Maybe this will be a good friendship. I thought to myself. I just hope she won't fall for Adrian.

"It's okay. I can cook. But thanks." She laughed.

"Well the offer is open. Anyways, are we going to go soon? I ask.

"Yeah. Let me go run and grab my jacket. Start the car." She threw the keys at me and ran up the stairs. I go and get into the car from the garage. I turned the radio on and heard the melody of Lena's songs. She had a very angelic voice. I really liked the work. She came out a few minutes later and she plopped down on the seat.

"How?" I ask.

"How what?" She laughed pulling out of the driveway.

"How can you sing like this?" I ask.

"Well, my parents are both very musical. They actually met at a concert. They both sing, and play guitar. I play both guitar and drums. My uncle Tito taught me." She explained putting her sunglasses on.

"Wow. What can't you do?" I ask amazed.

"Hm." she said as if thinking " I suck at piano." she laughed turning the corner of the street.

"Haha. I know how to do something that you don't know how to do." I joked.

"Whatever. Why don't you play me something when we get back?" She said.

"Why? " I asked

"Because you made me sing for you and Matthias" she said.

"You got me." I said.
*pulling up to Walmart*

"So I'll call you if I finish first and you call me if you finish first." She said and pulled up to the front.

"Okay. Don't get spicy things though because it might get in our eyes." I said.

"Okay sounds good. I'll see you later." I shut the door and walked inside to embark my long journey to find some food.
