I extended my arm to show them the ring. His aunts gasped and that made me chuckle. We continued to chat until Anne came with a tablet filled with glasses which were filled with orange juice ( obviously for Austin and me) and with sparkling wine for his aunts,uncles and cousins. Andy held his glass up high and said:
"Here's to your future kids!"
We all clinked our glasses together and took a sip. I then took Aus' hand tightly,while I lovingly stared at him.
And in that moment,I was lost,I forgot his relatives that were probably looking at us but I didn't care right now. I leaned in and kissed him gently.
A while later we were interrupted by someone clearing their throat and I blushed deeply. We got back to our chat with his family and enjoyed their company 'til late in the evening.
