“What are you doing in here?” I furrow my eyebrows confused at him just casually sitting on my bed waiting for me, this is weird.
"Um...I-I...I was waiting for you to get home.” He stutters
“Why?” I throw my bag into the closet and slip my shoes off. .
“I was worried.” He runs a hand through his curls.
I turn to look at him and raise an eyebrow waiting for him to explain.
“You didn't answer the text I sent you.” He is staring down at his hands, picking at his fingers.
“Oh, sorry I was with Zayn.” I pull my phone out of my pocket, opening up my messages.
I open the unread text from Harry.
Are you alright? -Harry.
I look up at him, he is still staring at his hands. “Why wouldn't I have been alright?”
“I was just worried.”
“You said that already, now explain why you were worried? Thats a weird thing to ask me. You saw me leave with Zayn and I was fine.” I sit on the opposite side of my bed, and delete his message.
“Yeah, but...I don't know. Zayn doesn't seem like he is...” he trails off.
“Zayn doesn't seem like he what?” I press. He is getting on my nerves.
“Nothing never mind.” He stands and begins to walk towards the door.
“No. You are going to explain. Why are you being so fucking weird. First, I find you sitting in my room waiting for me to get home, you sent me a vague text that I have no idea what it even means, and now you are trying to leave mid explanation? I don't think so.” My patience is wearing thin and I want answers.
Harry stops at the door before turning around to face me.
“I just don't think he is a good person for you to be hanging out with, okay?”
I scoff, “You don't even know him.” Why does he even care.
“Have you seen him? I don't want to get to know him.” He sneers.
Whoa, wait what?
“How dare you judge him! He has done nothing to you. You haven't even said a word to him and here you are judging him?” I know Zayn doesn't like Harry either but at least he wasn't bad mouthing him.
Harry’s judgmental stereotypes are pissing me off. He doesn't know Zayn. Zayn has been there for me through a lot. Zayn was there when no one else was. Zayn is the only person I know I can trust. Zayn won't leave me, not by choice anyway.
“I-I-” Harry begins but I cut him off.
“You know what? Don't even bother trying to explain. Its none of your business who I am friends with.” I spit.
“From the looks of your goodbyes tonight, you are more than friends with him.” He growls. Is he seriously mad? He has no right.
“You were spying on us?!” I begin to yell, I lower my voice when I remember Rob and Anne are probably sleeping.
“I wasn't spying.” He says through his teeth. It seems like he has grown at least a foot. He is now towering over me more than before. His hands are clenched into tight fist, his knuckles white.
I take a step towards him, he does not scare me. I have seen worse. I have to tilt my head back, so I can look him in the eyes. His normally bright eyes are now a dark forest.
