The Deal

I was struggling to breath as I ran through the forest.

Someone was chasing me but I didn't know who. All I knew was that I needed to run.

I could feel the adrenaline in my body, I could feel it coursing through my veins.

Suddenly I heard a deep growl followed by a women's evil laugh.

I tried to turn my head but I couldn't. It was like I wasn't in control of my body.

Suddenly I was pushed down on the ground. I tried with all my might to see who was chasing me and struggled to escape, but I couldn't!

I then felt a sharp pain on my right side. It hurt like hell! I let out an ear piercing scream!

I woke up with a shock! Clutching my stomach.

I looked around my room, panting and out of breath.

As I was scanning the room I realized that the walls were blue. The walls were blue. I don't have blue wa- wait a minute.

I quickly got out of bed and ran to the door.

Locked.

I ran to the back of the room, then ran FULL SPEED at the door and slammed my body into it.

It smashed to pieces with a loud crash.

I bolted out of the room and looked around.

It was like a maze. It was a large hallway with many different turns. I ran to the end of the hallway and turned right.

As I turned the corner I was suddenly face first with a guard. I then realized how hungry I was and smirked at him.

I quickly lunged and let Ivy take partial control. She dug her nails into his back. While using the other hand to slowly push his head at an odd angle.

She sunk her fangs into his neck quickly drinking every last drop of his blood, killing him.

I took control again and ran towards a large oak door. Just to be faced with two more tougher looking gaurds. I was about to lunge when I felt strong hands press down on my spinal cord. I held back a whimper and was about to attack back. But then I felt it.

That burning sensation like I was being burned alive. I quickly turned only to see the king. He held the blade of the knife against my skin. I bared my fangs at him only to have the dagger pushed harder against my skin. I screamed in agony.

"I've been expecting you little hybrid." He said with a hint of a smirk.

"Come with me I want to have a... hmmm.... a chat with you." He said then forcefully dragged me to his office.

He sat me down on a chair and gave the dagger to a guard who held it againts my neck. 

"I just want to talk with you. If you listen you won't get hurt."

I was about to reject him, but remembered the pain of the knife. I sat quietly. He saw this and began talking.

"I want to offer you a.... deal. If you accept this... deal, you and that witch" he spat 'witch'out with so much distaste and venom.

I growled.

"You and that witch will be able to stay in the castle and I will offer the both of you the protection of my kingdom. You won't have to run anymore! You won't have to continue hiding like cowards! You both will have perfect lives inside the kingdom, everyone will worship you and treat you respectfully. Athena will be safe! You won't have to worry about her becoming frail and not being able to protect herself! All I need you to do is one thing and then you get all of this! You have my word."

Ha, I wonder what he will want me to do. He might make my a slave or a warrior h will make me his pet! His puppet!

"What is that one thing? Do you wish for me to become your pet or maybe your puppet!?"

"All I for you to do is to marry my son."

"And what if I deny?" I asked.

"We will kill Athena," he spoke calmly.

A/N
Hey guys! Sorry we didn't update on Tuesday, but we updated today and will be updating again, later this week....... Or maybe again tonight? Hmmmmm..... I don't know.

Well anywhore we couldn't update because my partner in crime, the side bitch😝 (jk, she's AMAZING I loooooovvvveeee her!) writes the beginning of each chapter and I will write and add little bits (because I'm an unimaginative person who can't start a chapter for the life of food!!! -which says a lot, since I love food-) I mostly edit.

But since my bae couldn't write it because she can't be on her device for like a week (she went on it and broke the rules😏, so badass) I was left here stranded waiting for a chapter to edit.

Sooooooo that's that. Sorry!
