After Zack asked me to be his girl, the party lasted a few more hours. We all got drinks, including Cloud; which surprised the hell out of me. Needless to say, we were all very intoxicated. Reno turned out to be a pretty cool guy and it seems Zack may be even starting to like him a bit. Though that may have something to do with being out of the work environment.

"What do ya say we get another round of shots, yo?" Asked Reno.

"I'm already *hiccup* slaggered," I then burst out laughing, "that's not the right word." I muttered through my giggle fit.

"I'll take another." Said Zack.

"Hell, we'll all take another!" Yelled Yuffie.

So Reno got us all another round of shots. By then I was too intoxicated to give a shit about how much I had drank. All I knew is I just wanted to keep going. Cloud ordered us another round, then I did, then Zack did. Everyone was basically ordering rounds. We all had shot after shot and I felt great. I was surprised at how well everyone was holding their liquor.

"I need more fireball. Y-you think *hiccup* tha-that they'll lemme have a glass?" I stuttered.

"Well, my fireball queen, I can jus about bet, that if ya ask nicely and tell em it's your birthday that they'll give ya a bottle." Zack replied while putting an arm around me.

I giggled and leaned up to kiss him on the cheek, "Kay, brb." I walked off laughing like a madwoman.

I went up to the bar and did what Zack told em. They handed me a liter sized bottle that had a note on it. The note read, "My dear fireball queen, I knew you'd get drunk and want a bottle, so I got you one. Happy Birthday, Oma. I really hope I can make it the best one ever. -Zack" Reading the note gave me butterflies. I quickly returned back to my group and gave Zack a hug.

"You're the best, ya know that?" I slurred.

"I know! But not the besstest like you are!" He slurred back, "Now, drink up fireball queen. You and Cloud haz a competition. I got him a bottle of Yeager. Let's see who can finish!"

Needless to say, since Cloud isn't that much of a drinker, I won the "competition".

"Ha! In your face bitch!" I yelled as I slammed my now empty bottle.

"Wow, she seems more sober now than she did when she started the bottle," said Reno looking completely awed.

"That's our Oma. She's quit the drinker, really. I don't know many people that could out drink her, except Zack here. But he doesn't exactly out drink her. He keeps up." Replied Tifa.

"Yea. My girl never ceases to amaze me." Said Zack, "God, I fu-fucking love being able to call her my girl."

"She sure is something," said Cloud scratching his head, "anyway, you guys ready to head home? The twins and Sora are waiting for us. Along with some other people, apparently."

"I'm ready, just let me get another bottle for home." I said.

"Already got you covered, babe." Said Zack.

"Really?" I questioned.

"Yep. I got Angeal to pick up a handle for ya."

"You really are the best." I said as I gave him a quick peck on the lips.

At that we made our way outside and decided to walk home since we were all pretty intoxicated and wanted the fresh air. It was a beautiful night. Though you couldn't see any stars because of the city lights of Midgar, I knew they were there. I could see a few really bright ones. Looking up at the sky made me start to wonder what all was out there. I mean, there's gotta be something more, right? We can't be the only ones in this universe. It's selfish to think that way. I was so caught up in my thoughts that we were home before I knew it. I'm glad Zack had a hold of my hand or else I more than likely would have gotten left behind with all my thoughts because I wasn't paying attention, not even the slightest bit.
