Aight guys dis for u ppl who can't take torture and want fairytale endings with glittery cupcakes

Continued from when Yuzu wakes up in the plains.

Yuzuru's POV

It's awfully comfortable, very much unlike the pain and discomfort I felt minutes ago.

It all comes back to me.

Being stabbed with a Swiss knife. Not as heroic as I thought. Not to die by a samurai sword, but actually by a tiny handheld pocket Swiss knife.

I stand up, marvelling at the fluffy sweater and sweatpants that I'm dressed in.

I wiggle my toes, feeling the soft grass.

No shoes, huh.

"You're finally awake," I hear a voice call.

Startled, I turn around too quickly and fall on my bum, unlike the graceful figure skater I once was.

Sitting cross-legged in front of me, in similar apparel, is a young boy with messy hair, with a gentle smile.

"Who are you? Where am I?" I blurt out.

"I'm sorry if I was rude," I add, after some thought.

The boy gives a warm smile and shakes his head.

"Hello Hanyu Yuzuru-San, I am Yamada Kouji."

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

This dude is my girlfriend's dead brother.

"Am I dead?"

"Not exactly," he mumbles, scratching his head.

"Take a look there," he points to the water.

I creep over the edge, looking at the lake.

I'm sprawled awkwardly, bleeding from my chest, as Koharu fumbles with her hand phone.

We're gonna die, aren't we?

"Are we both going die?" I ask, grabbing Kouji's arm.

"Supposed to," Kouji says, a hint of mischief in his voice.

"Supposed to?" I ask.

His lips curl up into a smirk.

"My darling sister just found happiness, you didn't think I would let her die just like that, did you?" Kouji smirks, getting up, dusting his pants off.

"Woah--wait, no, so you'll let us go?" I stammer, stumbling as I try to follow him.

"The Boss says no, but I'm willing to face punishment for my dear sister," he nods.

"Besides, I've sent my little helper to offer aid already. If he find help in time, you should be able to make it. It might be painful, though," he shrugs.

"The dog?" I ask, looking into the lake.

"Yeah."

A deep rumble shakes us from our daze, and he backs away.

"Yuzuru-san, I have to go soon. Listen to me carefully." He suddenly turns serious, and I lean in, resting my hand on his shoulder.

"She will wake up near where you did, and she won't have the time to understand everything, so do not explain. You don't have the time,"

He passes me a brown envelope.

"A letter for her. Please keep it with you , and pass it to her when you reach the mortal world again," he grunts as he digs into his pocket, retrieving two paper-wrapped sweets.
