"You can't escape" She hissed. Anger filled me at her attempt to threaten me. Who does she think she is? "Escape! In your dreams" I hissed replying with all the hostility I could muster. I was prepared to fight and if that meant dying then I would do what is right, it is for my people.

"This is merely a dream young princess, I will return for what's mine" She hissed again.

My trance was broken and my eyes snapped open glancing around the room wearily. Although I am a creature of the night I have no desire to sleep nor will I even because I can't. Silently and slowly I stood testing myself. My body didn't ache as it had the night before. As I walked and took my first step all noise below had ceased. The bag filled with the few possessions I had left was on a chair beside the bedside. There was only one change of clothing left. How else would I hide my face and body. I feared soon the truth would soon come out and that day would be today. With an audible sigh I walked to the wash room. After about thirty minutes of trying how to figure out human technology I stepped out with a towel. I brushed my midnight black white streaked hair and did the regular hygiene routine. Walking back into the room I slipped on a different white cloak and white scarf that covered my whole face except for the two slits meant for my eyes. I pulled on my white gloves and white slippers. The tiny baby giggle coming from down the stairs made me eager to go.

Quickly as fast as my speed could take me I flitted downstairs. The people immideitly flinched at my presence, but at this point I didn't care. I needed to see if she was safe, quickly she looked up and immideitly reached for me. Leah - I think her name was gave her to me reluctantly. I wanted to say thank you for watching her, but my voice was a dead give away to who I was. Instead I nodded. As soon as we touched, I stupidly forgot what happens when we have skin contact with our kind. My eyes lighted up its light blue and hers a firery red. My moon symbol although concealed showed through my head scarf and the symbol of mars shown in a light a red. She looked into my eyes and I could tell she was chastising me for my mistake, but did it matter. In the end they would find out. Both our mates, werewolf shifters. How ironic.

"What was that?" Jacob finally chocked. I looked over to him as I cradled Rai. How could I explain without talking. Akwardly they all stared at me curiously, I shifted under their stares. From the corner of my eye I could see Leah getting impatient without Rai, walking over to the table I wrote on a vacant notepad. I had almost forgotten how to right in English. By accident I had written in my language, then French.

I handed the note over to Jacob so he could read it out loud.

"It's to Leah" He said slightly pouting, had he expected it to be for him.

" Please take Rai and feed her, we don't eat human food. Can you by perhaps get blood for her?"He said. I handed Rai to Leah.

"So your names Rai huh?" She beamed at her.

"Are you vampires?"She said to me wearily. She was very beautiful in an exotic way. I stopped staring and nodded my head 'no'. If I could I would bend my head back and laugh.

"Whats so funny?" Jacob asked watching amusement dance in my eyes, easily I shrugged.

"Does she drink human or animal blood"Leah asked slightly worried.

'Human' I wrote. Her face slightly fell. I knew they hated humans getting hurt.

'We don't hunt humans usually, I only drink animal blood. She prefers human more. You can try to change her mind. But she's kind of hard headed' I scribbled quickly. She recited it out loud. Upon learning this she nodded quickly and went to the kitchen with Jacob both returning with a thermal. He handed me one. I could smell it a mile away, animal blood. It made my mouth water and my eyes turned black. I resisted the urge and set it down. It was pretty hard with me gripping the tin so tightly. I had put a dent in it. As I set it down slowly I hadn't notice everyone watch me curiously. Rai was happily sucking the bottle furiously that Leah gave her, I rolled my eyes. She always did have no heart. If she needed blood she would kill for it, literally.
