Jacobs dreams were quite vivid. Mainly of me, if I were a mortal I would've blushed . . . Sadly I can't. I sat along side Jacob in the clearing we had frequently met up in his dreams. As usual I was adorned in my long white mermaid gown, Jacobs eyes adored me. He spoke first.
"I wish it could be like this, peaceful all the time. I don't have to worry about touching you - and you being in pain. Everything feel almost normal"He murmered, I smiled at him.
"Things will get easier Jacob, I promise. I'm almost immune to the pain when you touch me. In fact it makes me happy. I like it when you hold me, even when you try to make it not look like that"I grinned slightly where his arms were wound around my waist. He blushed and stuttered.
"S-sorry I can't help it, my wolf likes being with its mate"He said and I laughed.
"My beast doesn't mind either" I murmered. He looked over to me. "How can you control it, I mean not mating with me. It has to be killing you right. It's worse than a werewolfs heat"He asked. I felt slightly uneasy but answered politely.
"I just think about you being safe, I don't want you to die at my own hands. And for some reason my inner beast agrees even though it goes against nature. As a water spirit I'm relatively calm compared to my sister Rai. She's a fire spirit so it might not be as easy as it is for me to you as to her and Leah"She said, He nodded in thought about to ask another question when we heard distant voices. Voices of the pack boys and what sounds like a Cullen and a tinkly voice.
"Alice"Jacob said and sighed.
"Should we wake up now?"I asked slightly pouting, he nodded chuckling at my laugh and kissing my forehead. We got up holding hands and walked towards the waterfall. The dream began to fade and I woke up from Jacobs dream. My eyes though we're always open so I was staring at the ceiling breathing softly. Jacob on the other hand was snoring rather loud. I looked over to him lovingly and kissed his cheek to wake him up. The action slightly burned my lips but caused happiness to pulse through me. One eye popped open along with his crooked grin that I love. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer than I was before. I laid my cool body against his warm chest. Although it burned, I handled it well and relaxed into his hold. The door suddenly banged open.

Wearily we lolled our necks to look at our intruders. All the boys stared at us wideyed.
"Are we interrupting something?"Kim said slightly grinning. Jacob rolled his eyes.
"Were both dressed, we just woke up"He said and they looked confused at the 'we' part.
"I spent the night in Jacobs dreams . . . their quite . . . Vivid"I said laughing as he blushed.
A tiny girl appeared staring at me wideyed almost gaping.
"I didn't believe it when they said you were prettier than Rosalie and Resenemee but wow . . . You are."She said in an unbelievable tone. I wrinkled my nose at the name Resenemee the girl they were always comparing me to, Jacob had told me of her. His old imprint who's effect had be broken because they were not made for each other. Apparently she had found another mate. I sucked up my jealousy . . . Which rarely happens and with a polite bow introduced myself "Luminista, you must be the famous Alice?"I said and she squealed jumping up and down.
"Your voice is soo perfect! But yes I am Alice"She said coming forward and hugging me, I tensed. I wasn't used to physical contact but surprisingly I hugged her back after getting over the initial shock.
"No offense but Alice why are you here so early"Jacob said putting a shirt on. She looked at the hoodie I was wearing, cut skillfully to fit over my wings, I had gotten cold in the night so Jacob gave it to me.
"To give her clothes, if she's going to be living here she can't just wear every on else's clothing"She said grossed out.
"Well Alice you can't exactly take her shopping"Jacob said pointing to my wings. A dead give away in the mortal world, plus it didn't help that I looked like a perfect porcelain doll. Humans were attracted to my scent and looks so it was hard to avoid them.
"I went shopping before I came silly! I estimated her size, it should fit perfectly"She said jumping up and down.
"Uhm what about her wings?"Jacob said again. Alice glared at him for speaking and then turned to me.
"Your able to get rid of them right? Carsilse did his research."She said and I nodded. Interested Jacob asked "How?".
"It's quite a painful process, I've done it before. We usually break our wings to fit in with the humans. We have to break our wings and pretty much shove them into our spine. The healing can take from a few hours to a week." I said wincing at the memory, I winced because my healing took longer than necessary - a week and a half. Noticing my wince Alice stepped in.
"You don't have to break them now, we all know how painful that will be - kind of like reverse childbirth " Alice said and even Jacob winced, he's seen that first hand with Bella - Nessie's mother. "I have other outfits that will do just fine for now " She said smiling. She then looked at Jacob glaring saying "Leave". He wrinkled his nose frowning.
"She needs to get dressed so unless your doggy hormones are in check I suggest you leave."She said tilting her head to the door, embarrassed but reluctantly Jacob got up and followed the rest of the others downstairs. Alice then closed the door happily and began my preening.
