I'll love you always.

Chapter 1

Life is filled with so many happy times, but my life was filled with heartbreak. My name is Ally. I'm Luna of the Dark Shadow Pack and my mate is the Alpha. His name is Jake. My mate is the most handsome male I have ever laid eyes on. He has dark brown eyes and the most dazzling smile. His smile could make any girl fall for him right there and then, but he was mine. He was my soulmate and I loved him.

A few months ago there was a female wolf that joined our pack. Her name was Victoria and she left her old pack because her mate had died and it was too hard for her to stay there. I tried to be friends with her but all she wanted was MY mate. Victoria always comes over and tries to spend as much time with Jake. He always gives her more attention than he does to me! Jake even takes her out to the movies, restaurants , etc while I just wait for him to return home. He always tells me he has alpha work, so he can't spend as much time with me but makes time for her. I'm sick of this! I know Victoria may be more attractive than me because she has the curves and I don't. She has beautiful brunette hair and hazel eyes and I have blonde hair and muddy brown eyes. Victoria could be a model! It's heartbreaking to know that your soulmate is starting to fall for someone else and you are witnessing the whole thing.

"Ally! I'm home." I heard Jake yell from the kitchen. I heard giggling before I entered the kitchen and I knew immediately who it was. It was Victoria. She was giggling at something Jake said. They both looked up at me and Victoria gave me a disgusted look, while Jake smiled and made my heart flutter.  

"hey.." I said to both of them. 

"um, Victoria was leaving. She just wanted to come by."  

"Oh okay. Well, bye Victoria." I said through gritted teeth.  

She kissed my mate on the cheek and left without looking at me. I had enough! She kissed my mate in front of me!  I was started to shake and my wolf was furious. She wanted to go after Victoria and rip her apart, but I knew I had to stay calm. 

"Jake we need to talk."  

"What about?"  

I felt angry that he had the nerve to ask me that! 

"You ALWAYS spend time with Victoria! You never spend time with me anymore. You are always to busy with being Alpha, which i completely understand, but then you spend all your free time with her." I yelled at him.  

"Ally you are overreacting! We are just friends and nothing-"  

"Don't you dare say nothing more! You both have been acting like you guys are a COUPLE. I am your mate! I love you. I was always there for you when you needed me and I've been trying my best to be a great Luna for you AND this pack, but you don't care about me anymore!! Our pack members look at me with PITY because they think you don't love me anymore. I want to ask you something and be honest with me. Do you even love me anymore?" Anger and sadness was evident in my voice.  

Jake froze and looked at me. His eyes were filled with regret and hurt. The look on his face broke my heart and hurt my wolf. All my wolf wanted to do was comfort him and forgive him, but I knew I couldn't do that. 

"Of course I love you! Why would you even ask me that?! We're mates and I'll never stop loving you. I'm so sorry that you feel this way baby. I didn't know how badly I was hurting you. I promise to make it up to you. Tomorrow we'll do something together, ok? I'll show you that I do care about you. Ally you are my one and only love. I really am sorry! I love you, Ally. Never forget that."

I looked at him and walked away without saying a word. He has hurt me enough and I had a plan. Jake didn't know that tomorrow was the day I would leave him and never return. I would let him be happy with Victoria. My wolf whined at the thought of leaving our mate, but it had to be done because he would just go back to Victoria and hurt me again.
