New Beginning-Chapter 3

Chapter 3. (Enjoy! xx)

I glanced out the cab window and it seemed as if everyone I passed was happy. I saw couples laughing and holding hands. I also saw kids giving warm, loving smiles towards their parents. Just looking at how happy they made my eyes water with tears, but I held the tears back. Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry I kept repeating in my head. I needed to move on with my life. I promised myself right there that I would move on with my life and someday find someone who would love as much as I loved them.

I was staying at some nice hotel when room service arrived at my door and gave me a package. I asked who it was from but the woman just looked at me and left. It was a bit scary because not one person knew I was staying here. I quickly opened the package and there was only a white envelope inside. I carefully opened the envelope and took out the letter that was inside. I scanned the letter quickly and with every word, I read I felt my heart beating very fast and my hands started  trembling. 

' Hello Ally,

Your time as Luna has come to an end and the time is ticking. You will soon die and so will your mate. I will kill you first and then I'll kill your mate, but I'll make your mate watch as you die a slow and painful death. You're probably wondering who I am, but don't worry darling.. the time will soon come.

I took the letter and shoved into my bag. I realized that I couldn't stay here anymore and I was freaking out. I needed to get out of here soon or else I would die. This sick person knew I was here and I had no doubt that he would kill me. I grabbed my bag and left. I knew I had to tell my mate about this but I couldn't tell him through our mind link or else he would find me. I knew I needed to go on a bus as soon as possible and leave this city, then I would inform him about this threat. I just hope I'm not too late.

Jake's POV

I was pacing around my office as I waited for Victoria to arrive. As if she read my thoughts, she opened the door and gave me a sweet smile as she sat down in the chair in front of me. 

"Soo.. what's wrong Jake?" she purred.

I tensed when she said that.. it was like she knew why I called her here. 

"Well, my mate is missing right now and she left a note. She said that you have a mate. Is that true? "

She had a shocked expression, but quickly replaced it with anger. "That LIAR! My mate is dead" She shrieked with her eyes narrowed at me.   

"Calm down, Victoria! I was only asking and DO NOT  call my mate a liar! Is that understood!?" I yelled. This woman was getting on my bad side right now. I couldn't understand how I could even stand her! She was getting very annoying. I know understand what my mate was trying to tell me.

"Okay.. You can leave Victoria, but I better not find out that you are lying."

A look of fear appeared on her face before she turned around and left. I sighed after she left and realized I had to find my mate now. I sent a message through my mind link to all the trackers in the pack, so they could help me find my mate a few hours ago. I hope they find her soon because I needed her now more than ever.
