Found-Chapter 4

Jakes POV 

My paws hit the grassy floor of the forest as I ran. My wolf was urging me to go faster because my packmates have found my mate. She was about to get on a bus when they found her and they were meeting me in a few minutes. I was mad that she left me but I was glad and thankful that she is safe and is going to be by my side soon. 

Ally POV

“Let me GO!!” I screamed at Jason. 

“I’m sorry but we cannot let you go. Alpha’s orders.”

“Well, I don’t care what that asshole said! Why did he even make you guys come after me!? He doesn’t deserve to have me there. He already has his slut.”

Shock crossed Jason’s face and let go of my arm. 

“Alpha Jake and the pack needs you! Why did you run away? We are a family and you hurt everyone by leaving. Ally, you are important and this pack needs their Luna.”

I was shocked that he said this because Jason was being very sincere and he’s always the serious type. I smiled at him and wrapped my arms to hug him. That’s when I heard a loud growl coming our left side. I turned and saw my mate. His tall, muscular figure and his dark, soft brown hair and dark eyes made my wolf howl in joy. Just seeing him made me forget why I was mad at him and why I even ran away. He approached me slowly and touched my face carefully as if I was going to disappear in any moment. I was leaning into him when everything came back. Victoria, her mate, the letter, and the heartbreak. I pushed him away from me and I saw shock and pain flash through his eyes before he growled again and grabbed my arm. His dark eyes were now completely black. I knew his wolf was going to take over any moment, so I knew I had to remain calm. 

“Ally, don’t you EVER push me away! I’m your mate!” he growled. My temper was slowly rising as he said that.

“You are NOT my mate. If you were my mate then you would  never hurt as bad as you did. If you were MY MATE you wouldn’t have treated another female wolf as YOUR MATE. If you were my mate then you wouldn’t have ignored me for another. You aren’t the same man I first met. If you think that I’m coming back then you are wrong. I love our pack, but I can’t come back to you. I’m sorry Jake.”

I noticed that Jake had tears in his eyes and he looked so- broken. It really hurt to see him like that. I was going to turn to leave when he said something.

“Look.. I love you and I’m so sorry that I hurt you. I will never forgive myself for hurting this much, but I promise I will always put you first and treat you like a mate would. Please. Don’t leave me, baby. I don’t care about Victoria! I care about you and you are the only women I will ever love. I do not love Victoria and I never did! Just please.. Don’t leave. I swear I’ll make it up to you. Ally, without you I’m nothing and you help me through my problems and you are the best Luna anyone could ask for. But most importantly you are the best mate ANYONE could have and I’m truly sorry that I took you for granted.”

I was in total and utter shock to even say anything. I couldn’t believe he was saying this to me. I was also confused because I didn’t know if I could trust him, but my wolf was urging me to go over to our mate and forgive him. I looked up to my mates eyes and I knew what I had to do. I just hoped that I wasn’t going to regret my decision in future.
