I walked inside my house, Grace beside me, Trace behind me, Wes and Lily behind him.
"Mal?" I called.
"BRO! WHAT'S UP?!" She came running into the hallway, about to hug me but I grabbed her wrists and held them up.
"You already spiked the drinks, Mal?"
"No, she didn't. She's naturally like this," I heard Avery say. I bit my lip and started to walk to the kitchen.
"Babe?" I asked quietly.
"Hey, Sean," she said, kissing me shortly inside the doorway.
No one knew we were dating except Mallory, Noah, and maybe Aurelia. And we wanted to keep it that way.
The group followed me in a few minutes later, they probably were saying hi to Mallory.
"Aye, Seaney boy," Noah said, pulling me into a man-hug.
"Hey," I laughed. "You still treating my sister well?"
"You still breathing?"
"Good answer." I walked out of the kitchen and into my bedroom to quickly change. I had just pulled off my shirt when there was a knock on the door. I cracked it and then let Grace inside.
"He- oh." I looked down at my body, it wasn't exactly subtle that I had abs. I saw her eyes raking my body. So I decided to have a little fun. I flexed and I swear her eyes filled with lust so quickly, I wouldn't have had time to take a breath.
I just smirked and pulled on a shirt (which made her face fall). My tongue rolled across my teeth as I messed with my hair. "Miss it?"
Grace smiled softly, her eyes widening before taking two steps too many closer to me. I leaned back ever so slightly. "Maybe . . . " she whispered, and I swear my heart skipped a beat at the sound of her voice that way.
I stepped away and looked back in the mirror, pretending to mess with my hair. "Ready to party?" I asked, glancing back at Grace. She was scowling at her feet and twiddling with her thumbs.
"Yeah, I guess."
I smiled at her, pretending not to notice how bad she wanted me, then placed my hand at the small of her back and started to push her out of my room. As we passed Mallory's room, I swear I heard a bump or something, so I let Grace go on ahead without me.
"Mal?" I said softly, placing my hand on the door frame and peeking in.
Nothing.
"Hey, Mallory, you in here?"
Nothing.
I shrugged and stepped inside to shut the door. I swear I heard a sniffle and another bump, but I swallowed down the lump in my throat and walked away.

As I reached the din, where someone was hosting a guzzling contest, Avery tapped my shoulder. "Guess who's winning," she said with a loopy grin. Her cup shook in her hand so I tried to steady it for her.
"You?"
She squealed, pumping her cup in the air, which resulted in the carpet getting a little stained. "You betcha!"
I laughed, then made my way to the surprisingly empty kitchen. Well, not completely empty, but a ghost town compared to the living room. I leaned up against the counter as I waited for the line of people at the cups to disperse. When I was finally able to grab a cup myself, I went to the fridge to grab a non-alcoholic drink since I didn't feel like facing my regrets in the morning.
