Hello everyone! And welcome to Bre2k9 interviewing a random hobo who I found on the street :3 For now she goes by UnchainedHeart, because she doesn't want people to know she's Moron McGee (love you Unchained XD)! Now *sits down while hiding gun in pocket* Let us begin!
Bre: Obviously you're a writer as you are on Wattpad and have stories. But what got you into writing in the first place?
Unchained: Oh, I started writing in middle school. I've always been an active reader and I really wanted to make a world of my own that could draw people in as deeply as the books drew me in. I guess it's a bit of a romantic or idealistic view of the profession, but I just wanted to make people want to stay up all night reading a story that I'd wrote, just as I did for books wrote by others. It might be worth mentioning that I had never written fanfiction before my senior year in high school. I focused completely on original works. I started writing fanfiction out of a wish to improve my skills and my own opinion of my skills through feedback, which was more readily available in the fanfiction community.
Bre: Well, you fail epically because your stories are horrendous *pants erupt in flames**adjusts glasses and clears throat* Anyway, that leads into my next question. How did you discover Wattpad?
Unchained: Oh, I was an Inkie (meaning I was a member of Inkpop if you aren't familiar with the term). When Inkpop shut down and most of the members moved to Figment, I found myself disappointed with the website as it wasn't what I was used to. A friend of mine pointed out Wattpad as an alternative (as a lot of Inkpop members moved to Wattpad upon the closure) and I created an account. I came back to it a few years later when I wanted a place to post my fanfictions, as I'd begun to read the occasional Ouran fanfiction when I was bored (a rather constant state) by the level of classes in my high school.
Bre: So... As this is the Naruto magazine and such, how about you tell me about how you found Naruto as well? Unless you want a sand coffin or something ^.^
[And because someone is oblivious, she didn't realize I was threatening her and we spent three minutes discussing this fact XD]
Unchained: Well, there isn't really a good answer for that. I heard about Naruto a lot growing up but never had a real interest in watching or reading it. Honestly, I found him rather annoying as Naruto's personality is actually the sort of personality I can't stand in real life. I kept hearing about it after I gained an interest in anime (I didn't really get intrigued by anime until my junior year when I transferred schools) and eventually decided to check it out for a really lame reason- I wanted to read Maria's (well, Arctic_Sky) Naruto story since I'd enjoyed her Ouran fanfiction. I don't like reading without context, so I started watching the anime. I finished the first part that summer and instead of watching the next half, I simply read it. You could say I'm actually a bit late into the fandom, haha.
Bre: That's actually how I got into the Kuroko no Basket fandom XD Just a want to read DestinyGirlz book. Anyway, welcome to the fandom you late old hag xD And for those who know nothing about you, who would you say is your favorite Naruto character??
Unchained: My favorite character... would probably be Kabuto or Kakashi, I have to say. I'm rather fond of Naruto now (he's grown a lot) but I have a thing for silver/white haired characters.
Bre: You also apparently have a thing for "K" named characters XD. Do you have an OTP for Naruto?
Unchained: I'm honestly a hopeless romantic, I have far too many ships to list all of them... I guess I could narrow it down to two. My favorites would be Naruto and Hinata, then Shikamaru and Temari.
