How are y'all? Tinkerbell2019 here once more, I apologize to our lovely Naruto magazine editors for having turned this in at the last moment- I've had a rough week... so I'm truly sorry. I also have noticed how stressed out y'all are recently and the motivation is just slowly but surely disappearing- yup, sometimes it happens, we all get a little irritated, right? Anywho!- off to our quote of the month, presented to us by the lovely and definitely not creepy, Gaara Sabaku!

"I think of you as a friend. I used to think 'friend' was just another word... Nothing more, nothing less. But when I met you, I realized what was important was the word's meaning."

-Gaara Sabaku, The fifth Kazekage

This quote is quick and simple, and basically tells everything there is to tell about Gaara as a person in general. To Gaara, many things have no meaning- they simply... exist? When Gaara begins to see meaning in things, it means they truly caused an impact on him. He sees few meaning in anything actually, much like Sasuke who also sees no meaning in simple things such as bonds of friendship or love. This is because they know the world all too well. They know life is a b*tch and they also know there is no such thing as a "happy ending" in the real world- for god sake, Sasuke saw his own brother murder his clan.

But then- what about Naruto?

He too has seen the truth in the world, he too has suffered and cried at night, he too wanted to watch the world burn at some point- why is he so kind and... warm? That is the exact reason why he causes such an impact on people like Gaara, and even Sasuke- because he knew better than to let himself die in the darkness.

He rose and grew, knowing that if he allowed the darkness to devour him, it would be like losing- and if I know anything about that blond idiot, it's that he hates losing.

This quote simply represents Gaara realization towards friendship, and its true meaning- because no friend is like Naruto.

This quote also reminds me a bit of real friendships.

I know how it feels to be surrounded by fake people who give you fake smiles and fake nods of understanding- many people enjoy that, enjoy acting kind to other because they fear hurting them when in reality it only causes you even more pain and suffering. The so called "fake" people come and go constantly, never making up their mind and sometimes making it up too quickly, coming in and out your life carelessly- its only human nature.

When you meet a true friend, you can feel it.

They welcome you, you and your stupid flaws that seem to stand out far too much to your liking, they welcome you as a whole- as the human being you are. They don't stare at you if you can't run as fast as everyone else, they don't pretend to care, and they definitely don't make you uncomfortable- they simply accept you. I myself don't have many friends- as the matter of fact, I can proudly say I only have a single friend in all my years.

But its a single, true, friend.

ANYWAY- I think I've rambled on for about enough, don't you? Honestly- when I'm typing I can just go on and on and ON, but if you ever encountered me in real life (God forbid it, may your eyes remain pure) I'd barely speak up enough to whisper a brief "Hello" without freaking out.

I'm such a loser- an anime loving, Naruto addicted, food worshiper, loser.

Have a wonderful day/night/life- and remember, your flaws are only proof your human.

Love'ya, and see y'all next magazine issue! (Once again- many apologies editor!)
